Filip Jorgensen would be really good, I am a part time Villarreal fan so I have watched him semi consistently. Jaros 2nd choice gk wouldn't be bad either though.
avatar
Best wish to our greatest defender ever Alan Hansen head the news devastating
avatar
Shocked to hear that Alan Hansen is in hospital, hoping it's quickly resolved and he can focus on getting back to full heath.
avatar
Apparently Juventus have a price tag of £30-35m for Chiesa. If true, he should be our signing in attack. He’s entering his prime years (27 this year) and is a proven goal scorer. He’s also going to the Euros so we can keep an eye out
avatar
Praying for Alan Hansen 🙏 a fellow scot and was a formidable player .
avatar
World class potential is worth 35m in my book Home Grown is worth an additional 15m So that would mean anything under 50m would be a bargain in my opinion So for the press talking about him costing half that... I would say that is a very good deal
avatar
what has cptn done to this site......
avatar
It would be... nice... yeah i will see myself out
avatar
If the club rated him, he definitely would already be here if he’s available for such a low fee.
avatar
Forgot about that tbh, thats kinda mad looking back
avatar
Everton at home two seasons in a row, using his raw pace to get down the pitch and providing genius assists for Salah both times
avatar
My favourite is the one against Brentford.
avatar
There have been plenty of counter-attacking goals that we've scored that Darwin has contributed perfectly towards 🙄
avatar
Least that proves they don't have an obilgation to buy
avatar
Fuck sake man, this coming from you specifically is hilarious 😂
avatar
Adrian San Miguel, Joel Matip and Nat Phillips, you agree?
avatar
Forgot him.
avatar
Didn't local newspapers say K. Thuram could go for something as low as €15m-20m? He might be worth bringing in lowkey. He has played a season as a DM and sharing defensive responsibilities in a double pivot while being able to go forward on occasion would suit him. I'm sold.
avatar
Just listening to Pearce and Jones all summer 👍
avatar
Exactly, it was meant as an appreciation post. He's a classic player of the Klopp era.
avatar
Joël Matip was v good for a free signing, yes he had his injuries, but was key for us when we won the CL playing alongside Virg. Loved those runs into the oppositions box breaking the lines then creating a big chance or scoring. And I'll miss his funny faces. Cheers mate! https://s3a.sofifa.net/2d9525fd37b3bbe2ec06cbf92d11251522ce92a2.png
avatar
Unreal defender. We missed him after his cruciate injury this season, no doubt about it. We'll miss him.
avatar
Joel wasn't just very good for a free signing he was a part of our success forming a good partnership with VVD and stepping up when required. It's unfortunate about the injury problems
avatar
I doubt we won't sign Wieffer. Bento is class, the future NT of the Seleção there's no questioning that. He's not coming here it wouldn't make sense for him to go somewhere he wouldn't start.

avatar
Watkins is more unlikely than any of those 2 no way we're signing him.
avatar
trying to keep it realistic https://sofifa.com/squad/1864588 we all know how stingy FSG is they're not signing any stars
avatar
https://x.com/City_Xtra/status/1798358869539946680 Cringiest fanbase of all time man wtf is this. Genuinely got second hand embarassment reading that
avatar
lol "tyranny of the majority" a.k.a. democracy LMFAO. Ofc Abu Dhabi probably isn't familiar with the concept of democracy.
avatar
"[City] are understood to be asking for financial damages from the league for perceived losses from sponsorship deals that were halted by the rules." "In another claim forming part of the suit, City are taking aim at the league’s voting rules. The requirement that 14 of 20 clubs must vote in favour of any proposal in order for it to be adopted has long been hailed as one of the competition’s strengths, meaning that clubs must align behind any change before it is implemented." According to the Times newspaper, however, City’s suit claims the voting system preserves “the tyranny of the majority”. They want to use the courts to effectively run the league for themselves. Totally disgusting team and ownership.
avatar
The refs gave City the tittle and yet it is not enough for City disgraceful
avatar
Maybe
avatar
City are very poor at the moment though 😓 so if they keep buying CBs for 60m every season, they will HAVE to stop funding the women's team and increase ticket prices because they just can't keep up. There is simply no other way around this.
avatar
next time they will make an argument that their spending is just part of their immigration social programmes hahah
avatar
Yeah fair point. I think he is really good behind the scenes btw
avatar
Τhey can fuck off then like we care
avatar
Could end up with the club being sold as well. Let's not pretend their owners actually care about the club itself, they want the exposure having a successful prem club gets you. The super-league won't come anywhere near that level of exposure given how much we fans hate it.
avatar
I'd like to hear their argumentation how City not being able to spend 60+ million euros for defender each transfer window hampers their options for community programmes.
avatar
go ahead and join the super league it is full of cheats anyway. I can't remember but wasn't Real Madrid, Juve, and Barca that were left? Juve have been proven to cheat, Barca got charged for paying refs, we all know Real Madrid have done shady things in relation to refs, and city have 115 charges. Seems to me a league ruled by corruption. Who would want to join that?
avatar
People will probably scream about the perspective of renewing Adrian but I actually kind of like it haha. The amount of hope I had in Lewis and Musialowski...
avatar
It's really not tbf, the closest issue with that really is Thiago while Edwards was here, but that was the signing that sealed Edwards' exit, so I'm not sure you could count it. We won't know about any signings while Hughes is in charge of them, as has been said, 100%
avatar
They are truly the enemies of football.
avatar
These developments are in essence an admission that they are guilty of cheating and stealing titles from other teams. They have no lows they won't go to, now they want to counter sue. That club is rotten to the core.
avatar
Vile vile club i cant wait for that day. Wont be long now
avatar
https://x.com/Lawton_Times/status/1797998795084423191?t=IbIRNrGY2FBTXxqzsxyNow&s=19 this screams guilty. They need to get punished man i can't wait
avatar
https://x.com/PhilBlundell/status/1797999927668416638?t=8kIG7kfrkNAvgFT-2Ik-VA&s=19 why aren't you letting us cheat😡
avatar
The day I see Man City dutifully punished will be a glorious day
avatar
So to give a better over view Standard Chartered is a bank and has been accused by the US of processing the finances of individuals and companies which have also been accused of funding terrorist groups. This is not the first time they have accused of such a thing they were accused back in 2010 as well and it was thrown out in court.
avatar
Thanks!
avatar
Was in the Kop End with my Dad 5-1 v Arsenal 2014 we scored like 4 in the first 20 min crazy thing is it could have honestly ended like 10-0 if we had been more clinical but an absolute classic none the less.
avatar
With Edwards calling the shots I imagine we're hardly gonna get any reliable links until two or three days before the real signings are completed. Thuram in a double pivot would be good. Not the best in his position, but if he's affordable i'd take him
avatar
Nothing serious right now, with Edwards back in charge we probably won't hear much on the transfer front until the deal is nearly done.
avatar
Been kinda disconected from football now that season ended, focusing in university. Any new transfer rumors?

It’s hard to say but my gut feeling is that Guehi and Olise are sold. Guehi has one year left on his contract and apparently doesn’t want to renew so I do feel he’s the most likely to be sold. Plus he will likely be starting at euros this year. Olise will have a ton of interest and offers, I think there’s like a 60% chance he’ll be sold. Then you also have Edouard who I think will be sold because he won’t start over Mateta and Johnstone because he’s too good to be a backup. Not going to list all the youth players who never played, Gordon and Balmer will be leaving permanently, Phillips and Boateng could be sold and the rest could all be loaned. So it COULD look something like this GK Dean Henderson Seny Dieng Remi Matthews RWB Daniel Munoz Ben Johnson CB Joachim Andersen Maxence Lacroix Chris Richards Chadi Riad Joel Ward Rob Holding LWB Tyrick Mitchell Archie Brown DM Cheick Doucoure Adam Wharton Jefferson Lerma Will Hughes David Ozoh (out on loan) AM Ebere Eze Daichi Kamada Jobe Bellingham Matheus Franca Nairou Ahamada (out on loan) Jes Rak-Sakyi (out on loan) ST JP Mateta Armando Broja Thierno Barry

What's up lads, how've you all been?
avatar
Happens every game anyway

Dortmund had their chances. Good game overall.
