I need to go back to the Gakpo situation, it's getting ridiculous now. We bought a rising offensive star, that have insane finishing qualities, amazing long shot qualities, great vision and crossing ability. That's what we bought, that's how he made his name. Why the fuck, nearly a year after his arrival, we are yet to see any of those because he does not play a single minute on his favorite left side. The difference between him and Nunez while playing ST is getting bigger day by day. While Nunez can't score to save his life, he just cant stop providing danger and eventually we score from his work. With Gakpo at ST, we struggle to see the smallest of chances because he just doesnt know how to provide danger when he is not on the ball. He is not Benzema just stop playing him like that. We need to try him on the left side, his cutting inside play is very decent and his shooting can be a difference maker from there while his passing can feed Nunez even more. If he does'nt play well in the LW position, it will be time to think about selling.

What do you think of the potential Fab Thiago Hendo midfield ? Personally Im not a fan. I feel like the profiles in midfield are not different enough. Fab and Thiago are top 3 in the world in their positions and their duo is the reason top 4 is in our hands right now. Thiago has to play as RCM as his connection with Salah and TAA is our strongest asset, they like to play in thigh spaces and developed a very nice parternship. While our left side is more direct with Robbo and Mané so requires a player like Keita (but not Keita). Hendo would be a bit of a mix between Fab and Thiago which wouldn’t make any sense as the other two can do better than him. I feel like he could be the perfect sub to bring in to keep possession and keep a lead in a game with his skills and leadership. The LCM should go to a more offensive player in transition to compliment Mané and Robbo. Or a 4231 of course which would be perfect.
