So, your argument is that you don't want the CPL to grow? I don't understand that logic. If Tor, Van, and Mtl, moved to the CPL, they would bring all their fans and revenue to the CPL as well. All that extra money would do nothing but help the league and every other team in it. Would it hurt a little in the beginning? Probably. In the long run tho it would help elevate the league and help produce more domestic talent. Every league that isn't a Euro Top 5 is a "stepping stone league", just varying degrees of how big the step is. So that point is kind of moot. If the clubs can't be run in a fiscally responsible manner then they probably don't deserve to be running 🤷‍♂️
