Definitely not ready yet to play a meaningful role on a Champions League Tottenham. From what I hear from Metz fans, he had a stellar 20-21 and an average 21-22. I personally think it’s in our best interest to feature him in preseason, then loan him to a competitive Championship side. A lower level Prem side will likely get outplayed all season + be too steep of a transition for him. Huddersfield plays a similar 3-4-3/3-5-2 and had a good 21-22 season. Other likely competitive teams like Watford, Norwich, SheffUtd, Middlesbrough would be great opportunities for him. Another loan to relegated Metz in Ligue 2 would not be good news.
