END OF THE SEASON --> FORTUNA DUSSELDORF ARE GOING TO AN EUROPEAN TRIP !! We ended the season in the 5th place so that means that we are going to play in the Europa League next season !! It was a very challenging season and our team outperformed in every way and proved the housebets wrong ! In the last game of the season , it was either Europa League or Conference League for us , we played against Stuttgart and the game ended 2-2 .. we had to make sure that Leverkusen didn't win their game and they didn't !! Also shout out to Borussia Dortmund who won the Bundesliga title for the first time since 2012 !! They finished one point (!!) above Bayern but they have been the BuLi leaders since December , Bayern came in the 2nd place meanwhile Leipzig came in the 3rd place and Wolfsburg will also play in the UEFA Champions League after finishing in the 4th place. We finished in the 5th position and Leverkusen in the 6th. Frankfurt finished in the 7th position and they will play in the UEFA Conference League , they could have played in the Europa League though , but they lost the DFB Pokal final against Bayern. In terms of European Competitions , FC Bayern lost the BuLi title but they managed to win the biggest European trophy against Real Madrid , Arsenal won the Europa League after defeating Benfica in the penalties and in the Conference League some magic happened .. Royal Union Saint Gilloise won the third European competition vs Ajax !! What a massive surprise and great conquer for the Belgium football !! In terms of relegations and promotions , we had Koln and Hertha relegated meanwhile Bochum won the play off against Hamburg so they manage to stay in the league for one more season and Hamburg fail the promotion once again .. Schalke 04 won the 2nd Bundesliga and got promoted after 3 seasons .. Heidenheim got promoted too after getting relegated last season !
