I remember him from his time at Southend where despite scoring the goal that kept them in league one for an extra season in 18/19 and following it up the next season with a few goals despite Southend having one of the worst seasons in recent memory. He wasn’t really any good. But he definitely could have improved since then which it sounds like he has, so I would definitely keep an eye on him since he is on a free.

Calling Villa a relegation team and their run to the semis of the Conference League an overachievment is complete malarkey. That's not even mentioning that literally of their back up midfield options(also not relegation players) are injured.

Glad that Ipswich are back in the PL. But I think Leeds are missed. Superb and big fanbase, classic club. And also, we didn't see them from 2004- 2021 or something like that in the top division. I think you are thinking of clubs like West brom &Norwich. Southampton do also imo belong in the PL, definitely one of the 20th biggest in England imo

It's been a weird ride for sure. They were pretty terrible immediately after relegation from the Premier League, had the 3rd place season and almost promotion, went back to being bad, got some Warnock magic last season and finally went down.

The proper English league. Premier league is so boring nowadays. Horrible atmosphere’s, oil clubs like City, Newcastle and Chelsea, and it’s just a robotic league in general.

We will do well next season, if we make some good signings say 5-6 additions, 1 key signing 2 important and 3 young’uns with plenty of room to grow to replace the outgoings. I think that gets us top 2
