Tbh if Messi wins the Ballon d'Or this year then the medal have lost all its value for me and it should have lost the value to many others. Call this an unpopular opinion but Harvey Elliot is better than Gavi and the only reason people won’t agree is because there is an agenda that all English talents are overrated. I’ve got a got a big sample size of both players and I just can’t see how Gavi is any better. Not that he’s a bad player, but maybe it’s just the fact Harvey is underrated and not given enough credit for his performances at such a young age.

Should be benched. It’s not that he “can’t defend”, it’s that when he focuses on defending he sacrifices the attacking parts of his game which are by far his best quality. When he tries to balance the two, he just ends up getting torn apart because he can’t do both and that’s the simple reality of the situation. You’ll notice in games where he puts in a great defensive shift, he won’t contribute much offensively and vice versa in games where he creates tons of chances he also makes a lot of errors or gets beaten by the opposition’s forwards a lot. I don’t know much about Calvin Ramsey but he’s Liverpool’s other RB atm and surely he should start getting some chances now. Being a fullback is an extremely difficult position so I’m not trying to hate on Trent but a blind man could see that something needs to be done because on the whole, he has been terrible this season.

I think it's more of the fact that Mbappe has played only in the French league so far and spent 6 seasons at PSG. Haaland showed that he can do it at the highest level in Germany and England. I'm not going to say which one is better since they are different players who have different strengths to their game.
