Van Dijk is overrated. Not bad...good in fact..but still overrated. So many of his mistakes are overlooked simply because he's Virgil Van Dijk. Gets nutmegged by shots often, deflects shots into danger areas, gets beaten by changes of direction and bursts of pace, has misunderstandings with Goalkeeper and other CB fairly often too. Saw a poll the other day comparing VVD to John Terry and VVD had more votes 😂😂 John Terry was putting in 7.5+ performances for 15 years. Van Dijk has too many average 5/6 performances but nobody talks about it because he's Van Dijk.

Botman wasn't fit most of this season so maybe him only wasn't. Vdv and ake are better
