Yakin is absolutely wasting this good generation we have. Terrible manager.

Granit Xhaka created 10 chances from open play in the second leg against Roma, the most by a player in a single Champions League OR Europa League game since the start of the 2016/17 season at least. And it includes the assist for the 90+7' equaliser. 😤 https://s3a.sofifa.net/20f378875185ef30a41a9ad5730d7efe0ae6308a.png
avatar
Since leaving Arsenal on the 7th July 2023, Xhaka's last club loss was FOR Arsenal against Notts Forest on the 20th May 2023 What the fuck
avatar
I admire the dedication to the bit
avatar
Antonio Silva ofc, you should get him. Inacio is trash
avatar
I mean sure, if you ignore the fact that wirtz is better in all relevant stats then palmer is better i guess lol

Yeah, there is indeed little to no information about Swiss football in English. It might not be the best league in terms of quality, but it surely is a great league when it comes to history, passion and fans.
avatar
Lausanne-Sport is historically one of the biggest clubs in Switzerland. Attendances may not speak for them, but in terms of titles they are. This is a common issue for all Romandy and Ticino clubs and it could possibly be correlated to ice hockey. It is highly popular in those regions, but i'm not quite sure on this one. The city of Lausanne is behind Lausanne-Sport, while Ouchy is just a small neighborhood team. Therefore they got a big rivalvry with Servette, while there is not much of an rivalry with Ouchy as they literally got no fans.

Going down and hopefully never coming back. Disgraceful club.
avatar
I would give him a 76/79. Sometimes it seems like he's the better Schlotterbeck brother. Wouldn't make a difference at Dortmund if the two swapped clubs

Ich komme gleich in dein Gesicht, Chinamann!

Bro got abducted by aliens

I have watched him his whole career and he is definitely not suited for the pace of the prem or champions league.
avatar
Still waiting for his big breakout. The potential is clearly there, just lacks consistency. 67/76 for now.

This is a former keeper and keeper coach’s analysis on Lunin after watching over 30 games of Andriy Lunin. The qualities given will be ranked from greatest to worst. Going down being lesser. Best Qualities: Positioning, obviously his greatest asset. The intelligence Andriy Lunin has to how he forms his body to diminish the chances of concession is an elite level. Better than most world class keepers in positioning. Handling, Lunin’s is superb at getting his hand to the ball. All types of shots and Lunin often has the best response in how he uses his hands. Little things you notice as a keeper. Base Qualities: Reactions, he can quickly assort himself in the most favorable way scanning the nearby pitch. At rates greater than say… Arrizabalaga. Reflexes, decent. He is composed in how he makes a save when in short range or quick succession. Lesser Qualities: Diving, obviously being such a high level of football he is great at everything like every keeper (believe it or not). But in comparison to how his other attributes performs it’s underwhelming. It does help he is 191cm. Diving can be improved a lot easier than say Reflexes, Positioning, or Handling. Passing, Ehh he might be able to get the ball where he wants if necessary but you can tell it’s a part of his game he isn’t too comfortable with. Could make it hard starting for a large side outside of Madrid (as of course leaving is possible as Courtois is amazing). He does remind me in some ways of Gianluigi Buffon as someone most similar to him in his ratio of qualities. Obviously there are some closer in terms of ability, but just throwing a large name for appeal.

Thanks Michael Owen.

Immediately after posting this I realised how this isn't even as much of a truth nowadays. Ask Kendrick Lamar

Remember seeing the documentary about his move to Bayern II - he was 16 and you could tell he was never gonna make it. And now in Palace. Been following him closely since Palace as I was shocked he made it to Premier League. And he is actually a starter. Palace are about to go into relegation. And now this match against Arsenal.
avatar
He will never reach that overall 75/85
avatar
not everyone needs to play in the prem

Oh boy we had the same dream last night

What's gonna happen next season: Klopp will come back, Reus will extend and score 10+ goals to become BVB's all time top scorer. We will win the title in the last game, with Reus scoring the winner. He will at last lift the meisterschale, before announcing his retirement in a fairy tale ending.
avatar
He literally made the defender buy some pack of cigs (Marlboro 100’s for sure) and then he reincarnated as Quaresma/Drulovic with that trivela shot. https://youtu.be/_m_6AHkUKUo

americanism, my fault

Everybody in Italy (and Naples) at the start of last season said: "Ekim min geh?" In a way to make fun of him name and to transform it into an italian sentence: "e chi minchia è?" Which means : "Who tf is this?" Because most people didn't know him when Napoli bought him. Now, he is one of the best defenders in the world and the second best Korean player in the world behind the legendary Son

59/59, awful, useless, pathetic, not a football player.
avatar
His typical match: recovers some balls, loses others, helps Stulac in midfield, puts Stulac in trouble in midfield. He gets a ball on his left foot, he takes it on his right foot. But when he gets in on his right foot... he touches it 6 or 7 times and he passes it to the guy next to him or he puts a useless cross in the center where Luca Toni hits a header and goal!! I always liked you a lot Gomes.
avatar
Great talent but he’ll prolly rot on the bench no matter what club he chooses to go with, and then be back at DIF by the time he’s 25 lol. Should prolly wait 2-3 years before he goes anywhere

He's better, just better, not much better, not a little better. Think of it as a 60% vs 40% type thing. Inácio has 2 seasons on António though, I think you'll see António fuck up more than Inácio, but Inácio's highs have never been as good as António's. This also changes regarding who you ask, but I don't think even the most intense Sportinguistas would choose Inácio over António.

Have no words really, an unthinkable action from a brainwashed arab. No I'm afraid to even be swedish!

I finally understand Jude's thing: he's just amazing at everything. Dribbling, passing, shooting, crossing, creating, associating, occupying spaces, intercepting, reading the game, jumping, heading, tackling. Insane.

Why? Musiala, Velverde, and Pedri all have more.
