Süle has taken a step down at Dortmund, still can't cut the mustard and now has mental problems as well as weight problems and Tah is, as I said, mistake prone more often than not and already 28 years old. This might be one of my more controversial takes but I see Palmer absolutely flopping in the 2024/25 season. We’ve seen how good Poch is at developing his talents. Look at what happened at Tottenham with Dele Alli (who also wore the jersey number 20). Poch was brilliant with Dele to be fair and Dele was flying at Tottenham. Poch left, tactics changed and he had a massive downfall. I’m not sure if the tactics that Enzo Maresca likes to play will make Cole Palmer continue on having the break out season he had this year. I’d love to be proven wrong here as I genuinely like the kid. But I just can’t help but feel like this is a purple patch and he won’t perform this coming season.

Another thing to bear in mind is that teams (and I assume the FA) don't have much money so a lower amount is "acceptable".
