Maybe, I think Kylian can do just as well as Haaland in Madrid. Mbappe is fast but I think what is more important is that he has more playmaking/passing qualities, similar to Benzema. Haaland is a physical freak and more of a freight train pure striker type with some technique. Mbappe is not a pure #9 but Benzema wasn't that either. Mbappe also has the benefit of being able to play on the wing if necessary. I also believe that at one point we will see Haaland and Mbappe together at Real. I also agree on that first season Haaland was more unpredictable because no one knew what to really expect. I saw this at Dortmund too. Cucurella is an inverted LB, Fofana wouldn't really be playing a central CB role. In possession he'd move more towards the centre where his technicality would be valued. Enzo Maresca said in his masterclass that that role needs a technical CB. Again, Cucurella is an inverted LB not DLP. If we played Enzo over Cucurella then we'd be going to a genuine 3 ATB with no wing backs which is too attacking. Most of our play gravitates through Palmer on the right, so Nkunku would be coming central quite often. It's not a wide LW role, more of a LAM in FIFA terms.
