Around like 6 years ago I played against this guy when he was still playing for PSV. We lost 3-1 but when he was going 1 on 1 I tackled him from behind and he had an injury. His father was really mad at me for doing that. Right now I'm a student and playing in the 8th tier of Dutch football, I guess he did better.

BOSScagli. When he joined PSV back in 2020, PSV was in shambles, he was played out of his position and was considered a flop. The way he emerges into the starting XI under Schmidt and now developed to the player he is, is insane. What a player he is, he deserves to play at a top team

Said this before but you absolutely steamrolled everybody with nobody coming close enough to potentially prevent you from winning the league. Naja, lusten en geen lasten... Het hoort niet bij zijn werk, het is een gunst van deze voetballers. Zijn werk is voetballen. Als hij contractueel verplicht was dat interview te doen, was er al een reprimande geweest en een statement gemaakt. We kijken voetbal, maar de media en uitzendmaatschappijen maken er een showbizz van. De interviews zijn leuk, maar lang niet iedereen kijkt ze. Het is geen werkweigering, want hij moet namelijk niks. Dus het is ook niet professioneel. Dit is wat ik bedoelde met dat voetbalfans verwend zijn; ze eisen dat voetbaklers een gesprek hebben waar ze geen zin in hebben. Ze verdienen zoveel omdat jij ernaar kijkt. Als je niet krijgt waar je je tv voor aanzet en hen dus bekostigt, stop dan met kijken, zou ik zeggen

Altijd denk je toch het zal toch niet/komt uiteindelijk wel goed. Maar het lijkt nu wel echt klaar. De supporters kunnen er niks aan doen en slechts lijdzaam toekijken, maar als ik er zo objectief mogelijk naar kijk verdiend de club toch niets anders dan een Faillissement. Het is zonde dat de amateur tak van Vitesse niet meer bestaat, hoezo is dat eigenlijk? Want dan hadden ze daar meteen (na een op dit moment nog eventueel faillissement) doorgekunt en een paar jaar kunnen besparen als ze zoals RBC op dit moment terug willen komen. Maar goed, hopen dat een faillissement nog net voorkomen kan worden alleen als je dan zonder investeerders en op eigen benen opnieuw wil opbouwen kan je misschien wel net als Fortuna 15+ jaar in de Jupiler league vast zitten.

This club is in absolute shambles. After all the bad stuff that happened over the last couple of months, including being last in the league and sacking both the technical director and the manager, a new low has been reached. Alex Kroes, the general manager/CEO, has been suspended due to alleged insider trading, after just over 2 weeks at the job. He purchased stocks in Ajax 2 weeks before signing his contract, which is a breach of insider trading rules. This is made worse because Kroes used to work at AZ. He signed a contract at Ajax before telling AZ he was in contact with Ajax. Because of this disrespectful way of doing business AZ refused to let him go, and so Kroes had to wait months before starting the job he has only been able to perform for half a month.

I was looking forward to clubs like yours, Feyenoord, AZ, Twente and Ajax to leave Portugal behind and try to conquer France so that we would have a big and strong eredivisie again with all the Europa money flowing in.... Ehhh... 😔

The biggest mystery in football to me is why Heerenveen always have decent players, but they never do well. You know every season they will end up between 8th and 12th. Can someone explain why?

Maybe Twente can bring his talent back but at Utrecht he’s been really poor this season. Can’t defend and isn’t a fast, flashing wingback in other aspects as well. Twente certainly wouldn’t improve with him.

I still think he could be a great addition to our club. I don't follow Ajax to say anything of worth regarding their situation, time will tell whether the transfer will work out or not. The investigations didn't led to anything as far as I know. His time at Stuttgart is kinda underrated imo. He brought in players like Endo, Kobel, Kalajdzic and Mavropanos who were key players when they were at the club and got sold for decent profit later. Other players like Guirassy, Anton, Ito, Führich, Milot, Karazor etc. are currently helping to reach the CL with Stuttgart for the first time since 2009. Obviously installing Hoeneß as new coach has been a superb decision and the main reason for their current success.

Correct plus there were reports of him even before the tournament (fist fights etc). Now we wanted to include him in the first team and offered him his first 1st level contract, but the demands of his management were way too high.

Officially, Spartak Moscow wasn't on the Dutch blacklist for some reason., so there wasn't any legal consternation. Many media outlets and people in general weren't really pleased with this deal though, since it's not a very classy move from Twente and Ugalde takes quite a step back from a promising career path to play in a dictatorship at war.
