He could have another brilliant season out on loan and still end up on the bench, de Gea is gonna have the goalposts secured for another couple seasons. It's becoming more and more evident that experience pays off more than promise. Twice relegated Aaron Ramsdale, Henderson's Sheffield replacement, is now higher rated and valued because he's been playing football constantly. Hell, Sam Johnstone of West Brom, a former United player, is getting just as many England call-ups, and he's got a decent chance of getting them back into the premier league next season. This isn't Liverpool bias, he needs to stop romanticising being a Man United player and go to a club where he will get regular playtime, even if that costs him his Premier League status. Stay humble, get the experience, and then glory will follow.
