Going in for a major knee op on Tuesday and i can't say i am looking forward to it. I'll be 3 months on crutches with a big hinged knee brace without being able to put my foot down for that whole time and then i have to learn to put weight on my leg after 3 months taking an aid away each month, so it'll be 2 crutches and a brace and then 1 crutch and a brace and then just the brace and then nothing..and full recovery will take about 1 year. FFS. I have intense physio to go through as well. So hopefully when i get back i'll some interesting shit to read and catch up on. i'm planning on being back after maybe 4 or 5 months.
