Honestly with City weakening (also Haaland won't be as effective now that clubs will likely have found ways to neutralise him) I think we are going to be up there with the best of them this season. Onana and Mount are huge signings that will revolutionise our team and how we play. Top 4 is easy for us this season. How long we can sustain a title challenge will depend on the remainder of our summer signings. We have a lot to be optimistic about at the moment in terms of our squad and manager.

The only worry for me about Kane is his injury record, he’s usually out a total of a couple months a year and it’s been trending upwards as he’s gotten older, when he plays it’s amazing but it’s the same worry we have for Casemiro, he is so great, but when case get’s suspended for 3 games he’s so good that it feels like anybody taking his place is a significant step down and our play doesn’t function right so we drop as a collective in performance. I mean this is not really a huge issue, but with injury prone players, they tend to get more severe or harder to keep fixing as the years go on. Meaning, the Benzema/lewa argument with them playing Well into their 30’s which would mean we would have a prime kane for 5+ years doesn’t hold, because they were never injury prone like Kane. I feel like we might be buying a timebomb here Where we dont know How much time we’ll get out of him before it explodes. Idk the quotes that goes around for his transfer fees, but anything above 80 mil is too much for me with this risk. Because even then if we get him and he only plays Well for 2 years, it’ll still be a good investment given he performs better or equal to his level at spurs. You know what, we had something going this club. We were on the up. We had a young front 3 who were banging goals in left right and centre. Martial, Rashford and Greenwood were amazing to watch, utterly class when all were on form and so young. Shit has gone wrong ever since that front 3 fell apart. It was no surprise Ole started losing games and eventually got sacked because he lost the best part of the team. Bruno has taking a hit too cos he has nobody to provide for. Ronaldo doesn’t do what Greenwood or Martial do, Ronaldo stays in the box and asks for crosses which isn’t ideal. Elanga is also not good at all. Sancho is playmaker and has nobody to create for or with. Our attack has always been the problem. Martial has the motivation of a snail, Rashford forgot how to play football and Greenwood batters women.

But he only get to the ball first, he has no accurracy in his headers what so ever. That means that the only scenarios he's useful are when we park the bus and defensive set-pieces.
