https://s3a.sofifa.net/7b1a25cfbdddafd93adfbfdd4f5973c7bb8f2bb9.png Like you see his assists are very low, but his XA per 90 is at 0.25, which is quite high. https://s3a.sofifa.net/74806a2bf20628684dd1e36241a989e0b973e5c4.png He leads the league in "smart passes" and has an incredible number of key passes per 90 as well. Showing his playmaking abilities. https://s3a.sofifa.net/e55fb2d3fb9d661d638043b14630aad7409731c7.png Off course, like everyone knows he's an amazing dribbler and skiller. https://s3a.sofifa.net/3f23a8d33ed481676fe974d1dc0ca5759701f473.png More progressive runs + progressive passes than Frenkie De Jong for example.
avatar
He's not just good, he's an incredible player, I'm gonna put down some of the data about him, where you might finally realize it's not a players fault his teammates don't finish chances and that not every winger needs to score goals.
avatar
I hope we get him, incredible player.
avatar
84/85

What a player, technically gifted, agile, amazing passing and skills 83/84

Hope for him he didn't fuck our season if he gets a 6-10 week ban, which he deserves off course, what a dumb move...
avatar
piece of shit
avatar
Doesn't change the action tho. I know he's a likeable guy, but punching someone hard or not shouldn't be okay, definitely not if you knocked someone out. Being the intention doesn't really matter here. But he plays for Union so it's okay...
avatar
What an absolute piece of shit, knocked someone out on the field today, wtf man
avatar
99 aggression needed!
avatar
Agreed, forgot to name him, like Lang, Tresor are 100% 5* skillers.
avatar
Noa Lang aswell
avatar
Why don't players get 5* skills in the JPL? Dwomoh, Tresor, Tissoudali, Bongonda, etc deserve it...

Guess EA didn't see him play vs Club & Westerlo, was our best player over the 2 games imo.
avatar
65/86, if he keeps this up he's gone in the summer
avatar
67/87, immense talent. 2 games against the G5 and one of the better

Vision (currently 61) and crossing (currently 67) is too low and merit a firm upgrades.
avatar
Deserves 70/82 at LB and 73/85 at LWB. Defensively he still has to grow, but his offensive contribution is astounding. He's arguably the best crosser in the league, he has the La Masia-vista and he can't stop running. Great talent, an absolute steal for Anderlecht.

For anyone wondering about him. He went through a lot of youth clubs, Mechelen, Anderlecht and Genk, he's originally from Antwerp. At Genk he already trained with the first-team at 15 and made his debut at 16 and almost scored. He wanted to play more (9 minutes in 2 games) and because of this he was send to the U21's/reserves where he clearly didn't want to be. There's 2 sides to every story, but nothing big ever happened, only that he wanted out and we paid a record fee of 2 million for him, the record of highest payment for a 17-year-old or under from Belgium. His idol is Ronaldinho (why he wears number 80, one day number 10 I guess). He likes to dribble, sometimes a bit too much maybe, which isn't necessarily bad, means he's confident. I expected him to be 61/83 with 5✰ skills, ngl. But 60/85 is as good imo, just not 3✰ skill moves. His first game for our U21's was too good, he clearly shouldn't be there, only occasionally, he scored, but most of all it was like Ronaldinho playing in prison lol, Dwomoh dribbled like crazy and his passing ability was good, he played as a LW/free roaming LCM, unclear. I hope he makes his debut for us soon, since he's clearly very talented and also been named as one of the most talented U18 players in Belgium for a reason.
avatar
Didier Lamkel Zé is on his way to DAC 1904 (Slovakia). Would be a loan (option to buy unclear for now). Reported by GVA.
avatar
Believe me he is the biggest **** ever... Bipolar autist with no sense of pride.
avatar
We made some money from transfers/big contracts leaving, and we are sure of the Europa League/Confrence league money. I think Antwerp has a new big sponsor as well, and ofc Gheysens is really hungry for succes.
avatar
Michael Frey Jelle Bataille Björn Engels Michel-Ange Balikwisha + some youngsters like Soussi, Ben Hamed who will be between U21 and first team. So we definitely still need a LB, replacement for Hongla and an extra attacking player. Definetely 2 if Ze is also leaving.
avatar
No updates yet, but I think he will stay. Has more chance to grow here. His parents want him to finish school here and Anderlecht have a plan for the future with him
avatar
That also.. 😅 Bad start for both I guess.
avatar
Marktwaarde 4 miljoen. . . . . Interested in Johannes Eggestein from Werder Bremen (who have been relegated to 2nd class this year). Was loaned to LASK last season and also scored the 0-1 in the Europa League at the Bosuil. 20 goals in 39 matches (all competitions). Market value 4 million.
avatar
For anyone wondering, Miyoshi scored a goal in Japan's 4-0 victory over France at the Olympics.
avatar
Transfer to Genk is nearly complete, only medicals remain.
avatar
This guy is talented. One of the best U21 Belgian players.
avatar
Excited to see him play in Belgium!
avatar
What a player. MOTM easily. 90+ acceleration & agility. And these passing stats need a big boost. 74/84 imo.
avatar
Was incredible vs Standard. Skillful, fast, creative. I think he's one of the favourites already to get the most assists. He had 7 key passes today, let that sink in.
avatar
Preciado :)
avatar
I've seen many good talents at Genk, some needed time, but this dude just pulled a MOTM worthy performance in his first game for the club.
avatar
Yeah, I think I already know he's leaving next summer... If this is his level after 2 official games, imagine after 10... He could've had 3-4 assists today. If Onuachu was playing like last season, he might've had 5 even lol. Same can be said about the RB (don't know his name), so many good crosses.
avatar
What a player, MOTM against Bruges and Standard.
avatar
CONFIRMED: Lamkel Zé has been put on "non-active", he has told Antwerp he wants to use the "law of 78". His remaining salary would be more than Antwerp would've gotten from him (0 bids in his time as an Antwerp player, only loan + buy option). (HLN, GVA, etc)
avatar
Wanna get to know Didier "Crazy" Zé? Here it is. Arrived at Antwerp in July 2018 for €1 million. As of now he earns around €650K a year. Has played 88 games for Antwerp, scoring 21 goals and assisting 12 times. He played CM/RW in his first season, moving to mostly on the wing in the next and then at ST. As a talent, he's got natural talent to be a top player, playing for minimum a team like Wolves, maximum a team like Milan, Sevilla, etc. But, in the way of that, you've got "Crazy" Zé. In his first season he didn't really start as a main player until December, he was good for 4 goals and 4 assist playing in multiple positions. He was often late, punched his teammate in training (Jelle Van Damme) and at the end of the season said he wouldn't be back unless he gets more money. In 2019/20 he was not only often late, he messed up a game Antwerp would've won 8 out of 10 times vs AZ, even with 10 man, but Zé got another red and Antwerp received a late goal for extra time, which was not possible with 9 players. Why is this Zé's fault? He had a yellow and yet took a dumb yellow by getting onto the fences, taking of his shirt like he's Messi, etc. Later he got into another fight, this time with Sinan Bolat, who was probably 10 times more important than Zé. In a mid-season tour he mostly sat down and was disrespectul to his teammates, not willing to train. Like every year, he also came up late often. He also wrote on the walls and at the end of the season again asked for more money or wouldn't return. With 7 goals and 4 assists Antwerp used him for a final, which was played at a later date and with players leaving and needing the squad of the season before he returned, Antwerp won the cup. But it didn't take many games for him to show up late, go home "sick" when players had to run and Leko left him out (for good). In mid-season Antwerp replaced Leko who left for China with Vercauteren, who took Zé in. But right before this, Zé had a famous moment, showing up to Antwerp in an Anderlecht jersey. And told the fans he'd show up in a Beerschot kit next, this never happened, but Beerschot is Antwerp's biggest rival and can be put on the same level as West Ham and Milwall for example. He returned and actually seemed to stay calm this time around, he again increased his goals by 3 and kept his 4 assists, so 10 goals for him, but as a ST. He didn't have the best play-off's, yet scored maybe one of the most important goals for Antwerp in their victory over Anderlecht, which gets them into the Europa League rather than Conference League (if they qualify). But at the start of the season he again didn't show up, this time said he wants to leave, but no offers came. So he announed he'll stay until 2023, because he wants to "show" the jealous players that he's the main man. Yet, Brian Priske didn't want him back. So now he again has started to write on the walls, put on his Instagram he wants to go to Anderlecht, came to training and was disrespectful unwilling to leave, etc. So now he's put on non-active, and rumors go around saying he might be fired. But first, he has said he wants to use a law, which is called "the law of 78", which means he pays his remaining wages and can leave on a free. Antwerp might prefer this, because he wouldn't pay and there's been no offers and 1.2 million would do them good, Anderlecht doesn't want him and he would probably have to find a team, which might be hard in his condition, even with his talent. Between all of this he also once said, if an offer came from Beerschot he would go and Antwerp couldn't deny that. This all translates into him being crazy, and also no one can be too impressed with his stats. Besides last season he never really had a great season, but in 24 games he did have 14 goal contributions, but yet he had less offers than the year before for example (1 loan). But it has to be said, without Zé, Refaelov and Mbokani, Antwerp will miss 38 goals and 21 assists next season, but with luck their new attacker can do what Onuachu did, who scored 35 goals and gave 5 assists, probably not. But with Koji Miyoshi, Michael Frey, Michel-Ange Balikwisha, Benson and new players coming, Antwerp will surely replace what they had, but they'll need time to adapt.
avatar
Like I've said, he's still a great player. Has power (strength), goes into many duels and when needed picks up a foul (can help for a late winner or to slow down the game). But in fast playing football (under Leko for example) he does lack the stamina, work ethic and intensity. When we all thought about this being the end, he scored 4 goals (2 counted offside, where 1 definitely wasn't and the other is debatable). At 35 he's still going and you have to give it to him. But 81 positioning and 71 stamina is a bit much for him, he's a good finisher, but half of the time he isn't in the box and our crosses go into a box with max. 1 player if he isn't in their (under Vercauteren & Leko), he doesn't run enough to say he deserves 71 stamina either imo. On the other hand his crossing and cruve deserve an upgrade.
avatar
Well some of those 12 wouldn't even be in it. At the moment Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool don't look to good. Milan wasn't in it for years. Atlético, Manchester United haven't been contenders to win it for years. Tottenham have gone downhill after their final. Barcelona can't even get a semi-final these days. Juventus haven't been the best the last years and Inter didn't even get third in their group. Sure, they're all amazing teams, and we all love to watch them. But acting like teams like PSG, Bayern, Dortmund, Leverkussen, Sevilla, Leicester, Leeds aren't entertaining is wrong and I only named a few. I'm not here saying "fuck the super league", if I'm against it or with it isn't gonna change anything. But the Champions League will still be entertaining and those teams who will be in it will grow and grow with years.
avatar
Everton will finally play UCL, they've invested a lot in it, Leeds will be back at the top sooner than expected and they have entertaining football, Newcastle will probably have a takeover on their hands and Leicester City has been fantastic for years. West Ham, Wolves and others will be active too. Ligue 1 remains the same, even if Lyon or a team or 2 leave, there's teams with talent here and PSG will stay. Bundesliga even without RB Leipzig will remain the same. Spain will get the biggest hit, but if they keep Sevilla, they'll have Sevilla, Valencia (who need to get back to the top), Villarreal and other clubs who can be entertaining af. The dutch if they can keep Ajax will remain the same and with their talent and with PSV they can be entertaining too. I've watched a lot of Belgian football and teams like Club, Genk, Antwerp, etc can definitely try to push to get their chance now. (Club almost got to the KO stages this year). Italy will have Atalanta, Lazio, Napoli, Roma who're definitely entertaining enough. Football will take a hit for sure, but it will mantain interesting and entertaining. With time these teams will get better and more youth will get chances. The Super League will not be as good as people expect and with time there's also gonna be a team to always dominate and they'll come crawling back.
avatar
deze man is zo shit niet te doen haha als verstraete 71 is mag hij zeker 70/71
avatar
But he has the advantage of having a great team around him
avatar
He's bit ungrateful striker to have since he needs much chances and constant crosses into the box (since his heading is only thing that's good about him, in Serbia likes of Tadic and Kostic constantly cross or sometimes put some through balls that even he can finish. Even in Serbia it doesn't work all the time but i still think that he was the best striker in Serbia for last like 15 years
avatar
Had an amazing game today. Ball control under 85 is a crime. Defending under 60 and Interceptions at 32 is just a joke.
avatar
Man is playing for the Spanish national team and looked far superior than Torres, Oyarzabal, Olmo, etc for the game. Also his pace is quite shit ig, needs a big upgrade. 74+ easily too.
avatar
Mf still doesn't have 5* skills.
avatar
I think it's crazy how players like Chadli get chances, even a selection. Vermaelen another one, Verschaeren another one. It's time we start looking at players who deserve it and not just to call up. Doesn't matter if they're young, they'll have to prove themselves and get a call up eventually. There's other young players like Mangala, Lukebakio, etc who also play and should be chosen above players who don't (for the EUROS). On top this back 5 only works with Witsel & KDB in midfield (not as a CAM/CF. Martinez will have a lot of work, and stop calling up players and playing players he has good relationships with. How someone like Foket, Januzaj doesn't get a chance above Chadli is crazy. One always plays and the other jumps between bench and a starting place for a top 6 Spanish side.
avatar
You can downvote me 10 more times, it's still not going to happen.
avatar
How doesn't he have 90 pace? He's probably one of the top 5 fastest CB's in the world.
avatar
This guy was too good to ever play in the A-League, he played striker here and smashed a few long shots, and he is a defender. Glad to see him doing well in Belgium too
avatar
Deserves 77 rating... Plays sow well for us. A really nice with loads of passion for this club. The club he supports since childhood.
