i didn't wanna make any assumption until it was official but now that it is, it's kinda hard to take it in there's plenty of people to blame for the downfall and many moments that led to this but that doesn't matter now looking to the future, there's two scenarios that i think are realistic 1. we pull a burnley and use this as a chance to rebuild under a new manager, make smart and cheaper signings, get rid of the high wage bill and restart 2. we get stuck midtable in the championship without being able to replace our top players and seeing our finances take a big hit i think the first scenario is more likely and if it occurs, this trip down may be a blessing in disguise. the leicester team that won the prem was known for being mostly made up of free transfers and very cheap signings. i've argued before that we need to get back into this strategy. sell our big players for a load of cash and replace them with 3-4 cheaper signings. furthermore, this is our chance to give our youngsters more opportunities (something we've rarely done with rodgers in charge) its really hard to say who will leave and who will come in, and i think as summer approaches that will become more clear while we're all very sad to see such a downfall from the club that captured the neutral's hearts for years, i really believe that we have the means to get back up. we have the facilities, the branding, and with the right structure and project in place, we may return to the prem better than the way we left go foxes!
