I can never understand for the life of me how people consider him the goat. To be the goat he needs to be better than Messi consistently, not just for one season. Their trophy counts aren't even similar. Their goal contributions arent even similar with Ronaldo playing 100 more games. Their goal ratio isnt similar. Individual awards arent similar. Only thing similar is there UCL trophies by 1 and UCL stats, which Messi will overtake soon enough being he isnt far behind (and yes with less apparances and better goal ratio) Literally robbed 2 UCL bc there was no VAR. People just can't stand a 5'7 footballer being better than everyone. More salt on your wounds considering Messi went down as the GOAT a long time ago. Copa America and his 7th balon d'or just furthered his distance from Ronaldo. It' going to be hilarious when he ends up with the most trophies of all time, and more goals than Ronaldo with 100 less games, not that this matters considering goals is the only thing Ronaldo has going for him.
