I really do hope we are changing, because things are going downhill fast. I hope our scouting can level up with these kind of talents you mentioned and get on our level again fast.
avatar
Personally I think his playstyle really looks like Frenkie de Jong, moves the same as him around the midfield and likes to progress / open up the play either by passes or progessive carries. Likes to dribble and find the open man. Imo not really like Kroos or Jorginho in terms of playstyle but passing maybe
avatar
You're confusing Feyenoord with PSV. Psv sold Madueke and Gakpo because they were on the brink of big financial problems (they took big financial gambles) . Feyenoord is financially stable.
avatar
Love how some are shitting on him in the comments for being an "overrated English player" when he isn't. I've seen him a few times this season and I'll tell you now, he's quality. Not saying he'll go on to be a world beater by any means but he'll definitely be at least a great Premier League player in the future. 74/86 for me.
avatar
yeah I meant Lop my bad haha, they both have names starting with L
avatar
Rice stopped that from being 3-4 at times. Be interesting to see where he ends up
avatar
Yeah you're right. Probably better to move Wieffer to the left en put timber as the rcm. And use Bergvall as a rotation player.
avatar
Very nice

Hey Frenchie, could you give a full scouting report on Bradley Barcola? Fabrizio recently confirmed our interest in him and I was just wondering what he brings on the pitch.
avatar
So thrilled to see Lucho back in action, let's hope he's not a ghost of his former self like Jota
avatar
He showed his potential from day 1, just needed a moment to settle. People forget Jonathan David was written off after his first 10 Ligue 1 games without scoring.
avatar
Nothing would make happier than to see them bottle the title

City also have to play Arsenal at the Etihad, this is going to be close.
avatar
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.
avatar
Bayern and Frankfurt 🤨
avatar
That is super interesting. My bff and I just also made a team and we took a very different approach in players bought haha https://sofifa.com/squad/1530436
avatar
You went more to defensive Fullbacks while we defo went all out on backs that can attack
avatar
+ we didn't keep Igor because of his missing playmaking abilities while you got another purely defending CB in Esteve
avatar
We even made the squad basically at the same time as you (yesterday lol)
avatar
Rooting for you guys in the champions league. The lion still needs his ucl trophy.
avatar
Yet some people think hes the reason we struggle
avatar
He did for long periods while he was here.
avatar
Mane was world class for us but he was the type of player that would disappear for a time but then have a purple patch of success in terms of goals and then that would repeat all the time. Salah was more consistent and more available. If one had to go it was Mane.
avatar
If our dynamic in Velodrome continues, Lens is gonna win the championship and we will finish 3rd ... https://s3a.sofifa.net/35a8c32759a5193be2432e51aecf7dc01ddba116.gif

Mate thinks it´s career mode, Antonio Silva alone is 80 mil
avatar
This is top-level optimism. 1. You aren't getting that much money out of Kelleher, Jota, or Phillips. I'm not sure about the others, but those seem a bit more accurate. 2. Most of those players will cost much more than you mentioned. Antonio Silva is going to be 50-60m+, 40-50m+, etc.
avatar
Scouting conclusion: Mount and Gallagher both played ok. Gallagher worked hard to try and make things happen and Mount had one good chance.
avatar
Barella is miles ahead of Mount in a midfield 3. He would be solid there, anyone would trust him to do the job.
avatar
RCM - Barella (£50m) CDM - Rice (£60m) LCM - Nunes (£50m)
avatar
Absolutely

At least wait until the window is over before you complain about who we do/don't sign. Or at least wait for it to open. It's April. Every 'news' story, even from reliable journalists, is one side or another putting their story out. Liverpool: Don't want to seem like they've got money to throw around, don't want to get into a bidding war. Dortmund: Want to get as much as they can, but don't want to alienate player and put off future gems from going. Bellingham: Doesn't want to seem greedy or ungrateful. Ultimately, the only person who really knows where he'll end up is Jude Bellingham and his dad. Don't believe anything you read until you see him holding up a shirt.
avatar
3 years wasted loool!! And people defended this too 🤣🤣🤣
avatar
So let me get this straight. Everyone said, don't believe anyone unless Paul Joyce says it. And now that Paul Joyce says our Bellingham pursuit has cooled because of PRICE, which he's talked about for WEEKS, now people don't want to believe Joyce? OK. 👍🏿
avatar
Paul Joyce ruining everything. All German media saying the complete opposite. This will be fun, won't it?

https://twitter.com/LFCTransferRoom/status/1645416489359474688?s=20 The moment that made Ibou my favourite player.
avatar
Ibou had 8 duels won (best in game), 8 balls recovered (best in game), 5 sliding tackles( best in game), 3 interceptions( also best in game)
avatar
This is insane. I love it!!
avatar
That's all well and good provided Thiago can keep off the treatment table
avatar
Apparently Pep Lijnders is pushing Liverpool to sign Club Brugge defender Bjorn Meijer. Could spell the end of Tsimikas at Liverpool. Voilturez's post below about us switching to a 3-2-2-3 formation more frequently also has me thinking that he'd be a decent option at LCB, he's certainly tall enough and quick enough.
avatar
Left winger or a attacking CM if we will play 3241
avatar
I do think he'd be a worthwhile buy but we have alot of young midfielders already like Bajcetic, Morton, Jones, Elliott so don't know if he'd fit
avatar
I'm not going to criticize him for missing a pen coz he's got plenty of credit in the goodwill bank but we do need to have a conversation about whether he's right man to take pens going forward from here on out. Personally, i never been fan of his run up nor the way he strikes the ball which might be absurd statement to make considering his record but imo we have 5-6 players in the team that strikes the ball more cleanly than him (Trent, Gakpo, VVD, Fab, Milner if you want me name them).
avatar
If you're referring to irl, Handanovic would be poor. He slipped off big time and is 38. I get he's back up and probably will never play but if he is eventually, wouldn't be good
avatar
rapist scum, any gooner backing this monster should be ashamed
avatar
I mean we did beat them at Anfield...
avatar
In football these days you get points just for running around like a headless chicken i guess. Ball over the top beat the trap konate was in a better position to cover taa ran inside but i guess according to some he should be running after marteneli who is faster and already got a head start on him.
avatar
The performance was what was important today! Vast improvement and now we’ve got the difficult games out the way
avatar
Never said I want SMS, I just want someone of that profile. I don’t think SMS would really thrive in our current setup.
avatar
This team thrives in open games because we know that we have the speed and quality to slice through teams on the counter. It’s a shame knowing that we play low blocks 99% of the time and struggle to break them down but games like these are so fun to watch. It would honestly be so cool if we had a RCM like SMS who can play SS in possession that you can just pump it long to and play off of. I feel like for the first time in years we have an attack with some height and aerial prowess which gives us a totally different dynamic going forward.
avatar
Yeah that's true but the PL and FA scheduling is absolutely nuts. Look at us for example, we have been playing games every 3 or 4 days (averaging 3.5 days a game I believe) for the last 4 months. It'll take a toll on you, one way or another. Shit I've seen your players injured for less somehow with those doctors. But I do get your point but at the same time, Klopp needs to get the march sharpness in those key players right also.
avatar
Gakpo’s performance today went under the radar. His strength is so underrated and he’s so good at spinning defenders and creating chances for teammates. Also, I’d consider keeping him on set pieces. All of his corners today were put into dangerous areas.
avatar
Firmino's goal is the Hazard 2015-16 moment
