no, It's not realistic for a player shining in the Premier League to go to a Bundesliga club other than Bayern Munich
avatar
I’ve personally never been a big fan of multi-club models because of the way they’ve been exploited (ex. City group), but times have changed, and business is business. From a financial perspective, FSG is making a very smart decision. I’m hoping we get a few great talents from whoever the future clubs are.

It's my birthday!

Correct, Onana has in the past played as a lone DM or next to another DM. But he's imo best next to another 6 so that he can roam around and ideally enter the box as often as possible with his insane physicality
avatar
because he was the voice of LGBT and other marginalised groups and threw all of it away for the money while claiming it wasnt

Spot on

Long story of Danso: He was born in Austria to Ghanaian parents Kevin Danso’s family emigrated to the UK when he was six. Most of his early football education took place at the MK Dons academy but when he was 16 he took himself off to Germany to complete his studies. In 2017 he became Augsburg’s youngest player and within two years had played a full game for the Austrian National Team. In 2019-20 he moved to Southampton but whenever he played (very rarely) they played him as a fullback. Then he went to Düsseldorf on Loan and got signed for Lens where he has performed incredibly increasing his MV from 5M to 22M.

this "useless" club has produced two coaches that have won the champions league, Premier league, FA Cup, Bundesliga and DFB Pokal in the past 5 years. Stay mad all you want, unlike El Ghazi we're not going anywhere. The fact that we even protected the guy and gave him a chance to get back into the team only for him to publicly spread lies and make a clown of himself tells you everything you need to know about him and if you want to support someone who openly supports the killing of innocent civilians then you need a psychological evaluation, possibly legal persecution since you're a danger to public safety 🙂

We should buy this lad.
avatar
Apparently he Will sign for either Liverpool or an unnamed German team

Pedro Malheiro, Redondo and Tagliafico

Szobo is 23 next month, one of my favourite players. KDB at 23 though: Bundesliga player of the season at Wolfsburg, with 44 G/A in 51 games.
avatar
That's a well rated edit man, thanks!
avatar
My bad

Rotation for both wings and Szobo. Maybe this happened because several clubs were looking to get Ben Doak on loan and/or Saudi Arabia is interested in Salah. Also Jota's contract expires in 2025, he turns 27 this season and has had problems with injuries and consistency.
avatar
unfortunate last name
avatar
Fair Endo can also play as a CB and as an 8 in another system where theyre not as advanced as now and Palacios can also play multiple positions in midfield

Fofana at best is a serviceable squad player for me. Wouldn't push on to be best in Prem but decent enough tbh! If we're aiming for the best in the world It desires a bit, but time would tell. Glad your putting the homegrown players in perspective, because it's easy to over think. cheers mann!
avatar
Hard to say at this point. Will stick to 3 atb probably. The're rumors about him planning a two striker lineup but that's just speculating. so far in pre season it was always 3 central defenders, a line of four and a somewhat flexible 3 attackers with one being more linked to the midfield. I suspect that in central midfield Ebimbe and Skhiri are pretty much set to play. defenders lineup would be Pacho-Koch-Tuta. Götze will definitely play. In attack and on the flanks we have to wait what happens with transfers.
avatar
We have Szobo, Trent and Mac Allister, think that's enough free kick takers for now 😭
avatar
this team is a fucking joke
avatar
well for one, "religion" doesnt exempt criticism. Secondly, we probably should aspire for equality of all innate characteristics, like gender, race, height, stuff like that that we have no control over.
avatar
there's alot wrong with that but you wouldnt think that its wrong lol
avatar
You are making up scenarios to suit your weird beliefs

I like that people have no clue what freedom of speech means. Freedom of speech doesn't mean you can say whatever without any consequences. It means that the GOVERNMENT cannot persecute you for the things you say. You can absolutely be persecuted by your workplace or society for your shitty opinions. (Obviously this doesn't mean that anyone can beat you or anything like that, but getting fired for being a toxic asshole is perfectly legal) And homophobes like you push their nonsense ideas way more into our face than lmbtq people. You guys just have such a victim complex that you can't notice it. And lastly, no you don't have to accept everything, but you have to accept their existence and basic human rights for basic human decency.

Because he was forced to post that by his agents, employers and publicists. You don’t post the things he did without being a vile bigot and he didn’t change his views in a week. He’s only sorry he got caught.

Those were the emptiest apologies known to mankind and mean less then nothing

Thuram. Is. Not. A. 6.

Linked with Leicester wtf

Ball control 88
avatar
LMAO. nice try you joker... two completely different players...
avatar
Given how the middlefield of English Liverpool is playing he is best across all Liverpools xd
avatar
Won’t get a better keeper for 40mil that actually wants to join us tbh. Great signing.
avatar
Absolutely incredible miss against Hertha. I didn’t know you could shoot the ball to the left of the goal while standing 1m away from the right post. This shit cost us Europe.

Yet you employ a whole roster of them..
avatar
Union signed him permanently now
avatar
Retaking a pen to win the Europa League is a terrible way for a fan to watch the game end. Loses all of its spark. However, the keeper was encroaching. Perhaps a bit harsh but he was. So my hat goes off to this guy for another excellent penalty.
avatar
he plays no good season, like gladbach in general, but his talent is overwhelming. his coach farke is lousy, i think a world class coach like klopp would unfold his talent. 86 pot is absolutely on point
avatar
I could have made the same argument about Gakpo adapting to a key role tbf. He's played over 150 competitive games so I wouldn't call him inexperienced tbf, i also wouldn't underestimate what an uninterrupted preseason can do for all of these new signings (and other players like Ramsay, Gakpo and Núñez).
avatar
He currently plays as an 8 at LCM in a 4-3-3, that's the instruction that he carries out relatively flawlessly. He has stated before that he prefers the defensive side of the game and enjoys occupying a deeper position. If that doesn't scream hybrid 6/8 at you then nothing will. The guy is a physical freak, 6'4 with his balance and ability on the ball... he's going to be a 10/10 signing. If we get Gravenberch and then maybe Manu Koné (who I think are more similar than Thuram/Gravenberch) as well we're set up for title challenges again, preseason being absolutely so key to getting players in early.

Linked to AIK

I'm waiting for the denying phase eg: "Liverpool have made no approach to sign Thuram, but remain keen admirer's". Etc etc. When I start seeing posts like that from journalists I'll believe that we're making serious progress with a deal.
avatar
Yeah, they're all good (esp Cajuste and itll be interesting to see how Ayari develops at Brighton), but Bergvall and Larsson look like a step above them imo. They could genuinely become top class players. And my post was more in reference to the past decade or so of how our midfield has looked. Seb Larsson, Svensson etc.
avatar
Schjelderup isn't floping, he got signed in January to adapt and then start playing next season, it would be impossible for him to replace any of our starters this season.
avatar
So happy he's doing well mate
avatar
Shit season all-round but we move.
avatar
Some player doesnt even want to win the tittle
avatar
Since i am not a dortmund fan but it hurts me a lot
avatar
Alright now that it's calmer here I guess I can say something again. This club probably never hurt me so much since the UCL Final 2013. And it just shows that these guys can't handle pressure. Like honestly, I get that we were playing attacking but the defense was more open than prime Mia Khalifa. No energy in the tacklings, they just let Mainz walk through, relied on either blocking it or on Kobel. Then the midfield, I don't think I've ever seen Brandt play this bad for us. Lots of misplaced passes, killed the only good chances we had and barely helped in defense. Reyna was an upgrade on him for sure. Also Emre Can fell back in his older self a bit. The attack ofc had it the hardest, because Mainz were playing like terrorists and they barely had space to breathe. But still Adeyemi (get well soon) was invisible, Malen tried but failed miserably, Haller tried to pass the ball too many times. So now coming to the players that I thought did good. Duranville, Reyna and Moukoko. Especially Duranville. He eared the Mainz defenders up, created many chances and once he lost a ball, he ran the fuck after it and got it back. I love the guy already. Reyna also did well, he had this one crazy dribbling, but even apart from that, he felt like he really wanted the title, he really fought for it and gave his all. And Mouki did exactly what he always does, and why I love him, and he did exactly what we needed yesterday. One touch football, short times on the ball, made the game faster, ran a lot over the pitch to create triangles, and he also tried to hit the goal aswell. In the end I'm really angry, really sad and really dissapointed, I actually thought we had it in the bag for once. Now that Kahn and Brazzo again I'm even more scared. But I guess we're gonna try again next season. Heja BVB🖤💛

I feel like this goal may ignite an all-time great career. Had to deal with the first tough period of his young career after the world cup and all the chaos at Bayern and responded with one the greatest goals in club history.
avatar
If it doesn’t end up working out for him at Liverpool, I feel like he’d be perfect at a club like Atletico Madrid.

Herregud den där snurrfints-tunnel-passen... jesus

I’m gonna buy a red bull can and drink it to support those bitches for one night only

I quite like that tbh. Not the biggest fan of Mavropanos I'd rather Bella-Kotchap
avatar
315 career goals and has won the UCL, World Cup, Serie A, Ligue 1 and 4 FA Cups. Extraordinary career.

with all due respect to gonçalo, who is a great talent, antonio silva is a level above

This guy is genuinely bang average. International football is not serious football
