People forgetting less than a year ago in the Musiala/Bellingham/Pedri/Foden debate, this guy was on top. I think it's funny how things can change so drastically in less than a year. If he comes back from this injury and gets back to playing how he used to he can easily become the best midfielder itw.
avatar
Similar players in possession. Pedri might be a bit more calmer on the ball. Gavi and Pedri both are good off the ball but Gavi since being a good athlete is good at defending against players. Both lack the final ball and the eye to create something out of nothing. Great players overall. Gavi has the higher ceiling in my opinion.
avatar
This with Romeu having a more defensive role, might include Christensen as Romeu and CB backup

Real Madrid could go and win 10 consecutive CL's i do not give a fuck because for me FC Barcelona will always be the biggest club in the world there's not a single club/team in any other sport that can make u feel as welcoming to a family and provide u a different lifestyle like FC Barcelona fans do so we are in a dire state rn but i dont care whether we are in the 1st or 2nd division i dont care this club will always be the biggest and the best to me. And we will slowly but surely see light at the end of this tunnel very soon trust me keep the faith and VISCA EL BARCA!!

It's funny how on this site, they say that people from other countries are plastic for supporting big teams from other places. I'm pretty sure that the curry eaters or the coke sniffers like me, have more love for the club than the Catalan pigs who left the Camp Nou in the second half or the socios who sold their tickets for an important match like yesterday's.

The guy who gave us Xavi (top 2 best CM in Barca history), and Puyol (arguably the best captain in Barca history)... Hope he defeats this https://twitter.com/FCBarcelona/status/1510745913211432966?t=aVMVz-fElGFreAxlVCtCRA&s=19

I'm really excited for this new signing, good luck at prem Luis Díaz. He will be the second Colombian to play for Liverpool after Robbie Fowler 🔥 https://s3a.sofifa.net/82af4154549d378a655dc4dfe88e59e57acde225.jpg

Merry Christmas boyzzz! I hope everything is going well for you.
avatar
Last season: Pedri This season: Demir If Barcelona keep finding these cheap gems then that's working towards the future + their own youth (Puig, Gavi, Balde, etc). Now selling the umtities, Lenglet's and others for whatever you can even for free and building towards something new. New is scare and exciting, might need to start at a slow rate, but you'll be back. Good luck for the season guys!

Lots of tactical rotation in Sergi Barjuan's first game in the dugout for Barça B yesterday... we played with just one natural fullback the entire match and that was Arnau Sola, and he even switched to his unnatural side at some point. I must admit the right side was very interesting, with Zacarias (at RB!), Peque and Jutgla combining really well. Some other weird additions: Franck Angong at centreback (who did fine), Casado at rightback, Peque Polo at leftback, Txus as a pivot, Miki Juanola as a centreback... a very strange side, with only a couple regulars from last season's side that are used to playing together. The underlying mechanisms of La Masia are there though.

Young player of the tournament is our Boy Pedri Deserved 👏👏👏
avatar
Unfortunate loss in the final for Juvenil A... once again lacking clinicality (in the absence of Alarcon, as well, who's out for several months) and this time also quite shaky positioning from both Almeida and Ndiaye, particularly the latter. Very easily exploited by a well-oiled Deportivo who definitely deserved their victory, they have several strong talents in their side as well. Something positive we can take away is that Gavi and Ilias led the team with their mentality, always domineering and trying to seize control of the match no matter the adversity.
avatar
Emerson could be our Walker as Dest could be our Cancelo. If the manager does a good job, all’s fine
avatar
Wijnaldum would be a disaster signing to me. I really don't understand our transfer policy whatsoever, even now. We should be buying players based on profiles we lack and profiles the next manager wants, with Koeman unlikely to continue, why would we want to sign a player like Wijnaldum? He's a departure from the positional play and Cruyffist philosophy we should be looking to uphold and even if Koeman stays with his own style I'm just not sure what he would add to our squad that's expressly missing.
avatar
Decent start of the match awful finish to the first time. Positional play is so bad, awful positioning and organisation, when you're attacking in such a disorganized way it's 100 times harder to defend and you leave so much space, Pique was literally ball watching in Mina's goal, Pedri has done anything for the past 3 months and why the hell is Griezmann always starting he's the new Rakitic. We need Ansu so fucking bad and if we really manage to get a bit of money IDC spend it all on Haaland, I don't give a fuck if he can't pass, we need his mentality here. Also, Koeman Out
avatar
LMAO look who's talking about being obsessed...
avatar
Tbh, you can almost understand the Mexicans that are hating on him. The US is starting to become better than Mexico in terms of football, and football was the only sport that Mexicans were better at for the last few years. So of course they are gonna feel sorta salty.

still a good goalie, sucks that we have toxic ass fans. Would have loved to see him play with Mexico but I'm sure he has chosen USA after all these comments

Was electric tonight and i loved how confident he was. Demanding the ball so often during the game. Could have had assists or a goal tonight
avatar
Best central midfielder of all time. Come on downvote me retards.
avatar
2 goals and 5 assist in 7 CL+Bundesliga matches this season, only Harry Kane has more in the top 5 leagues this season. Kid is pretty insane at 17, excited to watch him grow
avatar
The right side (Roberto - Griezmann) has been very bad but honestly they are ignored 90% of the time they make runs. Then the 10% of the time they do get the ball no other players make themselves available as pass options. And they (Roberto and Griezmann) don't have any chemistry
avatar
For all of those who think that Griezmann didn't perform well you might need to see the match in a tactical way, he was a machine in that aspect of the game. First at attack he starts at right if messi in front (at the right) then he goes between the CBs to make space for the others and if messi stays at top he drives centrally to control the possession, alba has the ball runs towards the near post, Sergi has the ball stays near for a short pass, he runs what messi doesn't at both offensive and defensive, check fati second goal he push the cb towards his own box in a central little bit sidded to the right position when he is about to enter the box he changes his direction and fati's marker goes for him leaving ansu free, at defense he was more involved with moi and cm effectively shutting them down (he left Sergi with Estupiñán and quickly took advantage of his back). His job isn't to shine, it is to serve the team and he did well
avatar
Dortmund fans called Pulisic overrated, overhyped, and claimed they robbed Chelsea $73m. Now he’s arguably Chelsea’s most crucial player and received the #10 shirt. Schalke fans called McKennie overrated, not technically good, Schalke plays better without him, and will never play a single game for Juve. McKennie has impressed Pirlo, started in his first match and played fantastic while Schalke got smashed 8-0 vs Bayern Now it’s like Ajax fans have a personal agenda against Dest with all the criticism he’s getting everywhere. Just saying. Keep criticizing the US players and they will prove you wrong 🤷🏽‍♂️

Im so glad i have zero expectations this season. All i can hope for is that this vote of no confidence works and bartomeu and co can be gone before the end of the season

Wow, I'm glad you clarified with the brackets. Not sure anyone would've understood otherwise...
avatar
They can't accept the fact that he is miles ahead of any other player, even at his worst season
avatar
He’s pretty much a player of the early 2000s — a classic playmaking no.10 who you indulge with two DMs behind him so he can shoot and pass how he pleases. James Rodriguez and Ozil are other players like him really struggling to find roles. In the modern game he only really works as a left midfielder coming infield with a free role, but it’s such a specific role you have to readjust a whole team for. As everyone now plays (well nearly everyone) plays with wingers as glorified wide forwards and midfielders of pure runners - a lot of creativity comes from fullbacks and your attackers - the classic ‘no.10’ doesn’t really have a role.
avatar
- Messi statements after the game : "We did not expect to end the season this way." "We weren't balanced all season, we lost many points." "Madrid won all their matches after the confinement. They deserved it." "In order to compete in the Champions League we have to change a lot of things." "If we do not change, we will lose to Napoli, too." "I have already said that at our level we will not win the Champions League, here we have lost the League." "We must criticize ourselves, everyone without the exception of players and others." "Today's match sums up the team's condition throughout the season." "Our fans were losing their patience because we did not give them what they deserve, and this is their right." "Since January, everything happening in the club was strange and bad."
avatar
In your clubs prime we played you off the pitch all your players did was stand and watch. And even to this day they still have nightmares.
avatar
Puig nah honestly Lenglet he was brilliant tonight imo.
avatar
Puig battling for the ball, getting some shots, competing physically against the Leganes players. Playing like a real Barcelona midfield player What's the excuse ?

Fuckin sell Umtiti instead of Todibo for the love of god! Umtiti earns a lot, has been dead weight for 2 seasons and won't get any better, while Todibo is 5 years younger and has a lot of potential. At least give him a shot...

i'm 99% sure Trincao won't just be played on the RW just like Malcom also did when he was here.

this is the best i could come up with in about 5 mins MATS - German Alves - Brazil Yaya - Ivory Coast Koeman - Netherlands Abidal - French Raktitic - Croatia Iniesta - Spain Laudrup - Denmark Eto'o - Cameroon Messi - Argentina Suarez - Uruguay line up - 433 Suarez Messi Eto'o Iniesta Raki Laudrup Abidal Koeman YaYa Alves MATS

Moukoko for sure. I’m sure Karamoko’s a great talent but the media created false standards torwards him. He’s not that promising. His Overall/potential is fine, I guess.
