Welcome to the real world. What the f*'*K do you expect from a club that has been ran into the dirt for ages, now we lose the few good players we had and we lose. You clearly havent thought this through. You expect fairytales, hanging onto history like som puppet on strings. I agree with one thing, ETH is not pragmatic enough for Premier League. But he can learn.
avatar
The f**K is he supoosed to say? "My tactics werent up to par" when the players get complete panic whenever they get the ball? You've been talking this way for years, you dont support the manager, you support the players. Its such a shame that so many call themselves supporters of this club, when they behave like reactionary children.
avatar
He said stand by our new manager and we as supporters has done a shameful job at that
avatar
Mainoo scored Diallo scored Hojlund scored What a great match honestly, but it is concerning how we always concede in the last few mins
avatar
Its laughable how some fans want the Glazers out but still suggest Glazer-type signings. The whole point of appointing a new board with new DOFs is to start making smart signings and long-term strategies. Joselu --> Real Madrid type signing is what we need to backup Hojlund next season. None of these 50M for Toney bullshit. Not when there are so many other priority positions to fill.

Okay ill check those out. Source number 1: LEADS BACK TO THE SAME TWITTER ACCOUNT' Source number 2: Doesnt refer to any source, just Ten Hag saying he wasn't ready, which is not the same as being deemed unfit to play Source 3: Again no sources within this article. This all stems from the anonymous sources of the twitter account Attacking Football, which was created just 1 year ago, and has no credibility. Where is the report from Sky sports, Bt sports, BBC, MEN, Fabrizio Roman, The Athletic, The Mirror, The daily mail, Henry Winter etc?

Recency bias, Mount was highly rated, one of the best U23 itw, homegrown and sought by Arsenal and Liverpool too. That first injury was unlucky but afterwards it has just been pure mismanagement.
avatar
Just like how I criticise or "abuse" every one else, including the ones I like? Casemiro, Bruno, ETH, Varane, Shaw, Pogba, Ole, Ralf, you name it. Just go thru my past comments. Unlike you mate, I don't operate on favouritism and bias, the only ones I refuse to go in on are the kids, which you would happily throw under the bus if that means protecting your boy Rashford. Disgusting behaviour.
avatar
bro is a fan of both manchester clearly a crazy person
avatar
exactly, so the manager gets to ease into a squad that's been playing together for a while and the club's staff being actually competent. Our players and our staff are like 5th graders trying to do it for a club in uni.
avatar
So our candidates to replace Ten Hag are Terrorgate and Tucheliban 😭😭😭😭

Ok, let's dumb it down for you. You can have several independent issues at a club, lack of professionalism can be one, that doesn't mean that there aren't other problems that can co-exist with it and create a greater issue in corroboration with it. Now, you say that mentioning lack of professionalism is lazy and incorrect. Both these statements are laughably dumb. First, you can call it lazy, but it's not more lazy than to point fingers at ETH, Rashford, Bruno, Casemiro, Maguire, Lindelöf, Onana, the medical staff or whatever entity you point out. So by your definition, anyone who has criticised any element of this club without writing a thesis on every other issue at the club at the same time is lazy. Well that's just a straight-up dumb take on an internet forum. Classic DH. Second, you claim it's incorrect, or specifically you say "it's wrong" so I take it as you meaning it is incorrect rather claiming that it's immoral. I hope I don't misrepresent you there. Well, this has been documented to have happened a couple of times before so why would it be incorrect this time specifically? There are reports that it is the case, that is of course second-hand information but because it has happened so many times before it's not a stretch to say that it's a pattern. Players get fed up with manager, they stop peforming, manager gets sacked. Pretty much what happened to Ole as an example.
avatar
Hence why they're just as clownish as ETH to me.
avatar
And that's why you're not a professional footballer, just like many of our players. They need to have some fucking pride towards their craft and a winning mentality. Again, not defending ETH, just saying the problem is and has always been greater than him alone. There's a reason we remain a joke throughout so many different Manager's tenures.
avatar
So apparently ETH has lost the dressing room and players don't listen to him. Not all out defending him but what do you expect in terms of results when players don't give a damn about instructions? Same old story we've already seen with Ole and others before him, players throwing their manager under the bus. Our squad mentality is absolute bull.
avatar
Next time i'll try to add some pictures with nice colours mate
avatar
This is a random example but im just going to write this out in hope that some of you understand the situation we're in. ETH is a carpenter, and he's been tasked to build a massive skyscraper worthy of the name Manchester United. Now he's laid most of the foundation for it to be steady. But then half the bricks started crumbling, then he started putting whatever Legos he had laying around to fix it. And during this time some bricks returned, which he put in to fix this crumbling building. Then the pieces started crumbling again because they weren't stable. If it's his fault or the people in charge of quality control is debateable. We can't expect him to micro manage every single aspect of this project. From Greenwood Scandal, Ronaldo Interview, Antony controversy, Sancho outcry etc. its more than most managers have to deal with in their entire tenure at a football club. Now today we have a mix-matched foundation consisting of bricks and Legos, mostly Legos even an outdated block of Jenga (Evans). He's handled every controversy at the club with ease, he walked out of one press conference but that is it. We've got a new project manager who is putting the right people in the right places. We need patience for the right material to come in to let the builder complete this build. Lets see what INEOS & Eth can build together before we start drawing up plans for an new building. I know 3-4 years seems like a lot to some of you because it's 1/4 - 1/6 of your entire life. But we need to have patience in this build or the same shit will happen again as it's happened multiple times before him.
avatar
You forgot to consider a budget mate
avatar
The manager is going to ask the board to sign Wharton, and they will return on deadline day with Lewis Cook for 50 million
avatar
We should definitely be looking in for Adam Wharton man was cooking against arsenal
avatar
Just to point out his near post mistakes this season, to prove De Gea was certainly better at it. 2 vs Palace 2 Vs Copenhagen Vs Rice vs Sarr for Spurs Vs Sane for Bayern 2 Vs Bournemouth
avatar
Wow in his 12 years at the club he made like 10 mistakes near post..... Onana has made like 10 in his first season.
avatar
Okay what is going on with refereeing??? Arsenal literally do that all the time on their corners. They always have a man blocking the keeper from getting the ball.
avatar
Amad over Antony but it's pretty obvious why Eriksen is starting. The only other guy we have available would be Amrabat and Eriksen is simply way better
avatar
5-0 cook sesh from palace
avatar
Common sense would be to leave that decision to the people with medical degrees who have examined him. If they deem him ready to start, I would counter that it is in fact common sense to start him. However if they deem him not ready to start, it would be common sense to ease him in.
avatar
Luke Shaw and Martinez are back in training but won't be played.... I wonder why that is. Could it maybe have something with him not being cleared by the medical department? It is almost as if the manager listens to them.... a foreign concept for some of yall who think he makes it up on his own
avatar
But why is it almost exclusively defenders getting injured? Seems very odd, 7/8 out of 10 defenders injured is crazy
avatar
So its ETH fault players get injured, but its not Klopps fault when Liverpool players get injured? is it Howe's fault that Newcastle have lots of injuries? Is it De Zerbi's fault Brighton have many injuries? Was it Ancelotti's fault that half or his Madrid team tore their acls earlier this season? Your agenda is revealed through your double standards.

The squad Ole had when he got sacked: https://sofifa.com/squad/1834793 The squad Tem Hag has had available to him this season: https://sofifa.com/squad/1834795 Yes, I know Mount and Amad for example have been available at times, but they were both injured for the majority of the season, same goes for others.
avatar
"‘his signings’ were not his whatsoever, who he wants and who he got were chalk and cheese." So this counts as an excuse for Ole but not for ETH. Your agenda is showing. Massive double standards there mate. Which players didn't Ole want? VDB sure, but he obsessed over Sancho, but didn't know where to use him, AWB, Maguire, Bruno, Varane were all his signings ETH at least plays the players he is given and knows how to use them, even if they weren't his targets. "it was 12 games in and we were 6 points off of 4th, 9 off second, he definitely would’ve caught that up." Yes, but we had the EASIEST start imaginable, and we were still 6 points of 4th. The 12 teams we faced were: Leeds - Relegation battlers Southhampton - Relegation battlers Wolves - Mid table Newcastle - Mid table West Ham - decent team, got conference league Aston Villa - Mid Table Everton - Relegation battlers Leicester - Decent team, got 8th Liverpool Tottenham City Watford - Relegation fodder We were 6 points off already after having a ridiculously easy start, and we were about to face Arsenal and Chelsea, which we would surely have lost against if we kept Ole. "Let’s see someone get better out of worse than him" That's literally what Ten Hag is doing. Because of injuries he has mostly the EXCACT same players, and with less depth and less quality. ETH's attacking options for most this season: Højlund - Only striker Rashford, Garnacho, Antony only wingers for most the season Bruno the only 10 available for most the season. Ole's attacking options Ronaldo, Cavani, Martial - 3 options for nine, vs ETH's 1 Rashford, Sancho, Greenwood, Amad, Elanga, Lingard - A bunch of wing options, including 1 he spent 2 years obsessing over buying, and bought for 70+ million Bruno Fernandes, Pogba, Mata, VDB - 4 options to ETH's 1 You could do the same with the defence, with ETH having the same cb's but not a single left back. Ole had Maguire, Varane, Lindelof and Bailly ETH has had Maguire, Varane, Lindelof and Evans Ole had Shaw, Telles and Williams ETH has had Amrabat, Lindelof, AWB ETH has access to worse players, yet has us in a better league position, has won a trophy, and is in a final. All this whilst having a record-breaking amount of injuries, which Ole didn't have. "genuinely what trophies was he supposed to win? He was going up against a city side who won the domestic treble twice and De Gea fucked us in the Europa." The Europa League, the FA cup, the Carabao cup. ETH is also going up against the same City side, yet won a trophy in his first year, something Ole didn't manage in 3. If ETH had done exactly like Ole, you would still be wanting him out.
avatar
Bunch of clowns in this fanbase
avatar
Ole was in 7th, playing defensive counter-attacking football with the attacking options of: Ronaldo, Cavani, Martial Rashford, Sancho, Greenwood, Amad, Elanga, Lingard Bruno, Pogba, DVB, Mata Also Ole won how many trophies? He was deservedly sacked based on his horrid form. Let's take a look at the run of games that got him sacked: 1-0 loss to a relegation-battling Villa at Old Trafford 1-1 draw with 16th-place Everton at Old Trafford 4-2 loss to Leicester 5-0 loss to Liverpool at Old Trafford 3-0 win away to Spurs 2-0 loss to City at Old Trafford 4-1 loss to Watford How can you not sack a manager with results like this? 4 points from 21, whilst playing 3 relegation battling teams and getting comprehensively beaten by Liverpool, City, Leicester and Watford. His recruitment for what it's worth was also disastrous. 80 million for Maguire 50 million for Wan-Bissaka 75 million on Sancho 30 million on VDB His only successful deals were Bruno, Ronaldo and Varane (Not even sure if the 40 million and huge wages were even worth it tho) His man management was not what it's made out to be: Mismanaged the goalkeeper situation between De Gea and Henderson, and kept both players unhappy because he was indecisive. Bought VDB only to ruin his confidence and career. His management led Lukaku to want out after only a few months with him. Man managed his big signing Jadon Sancho so well that he didn't show up to training on time, same with Pogba. Made Bailly furious by starting an unfit Maguire ahead of him. Man managed so well that he selected Maguire to be captain, a responsibility he couldn't bear. Man managed so well that he lost the entire dressing room. Ole also wasn't great with developing young players, with only 1 success, that being Greenwood. In conclusion, there were plenty of reasons to sack Ole.
avatar
That's why I loved Ten Hag saying this whilst looking Neville right in the eyes: "We've now played 47 games and we had 30 combinations in the back four. They weren't from choices you make, they were forced choices because the players were injured… anyone with even a little bit of knowledge about football, they will know it will have a huge impact." He basically called Gary a brainless idiot who has no clue about football right to his face, and he had no comeback, he just had to sit there and agree. A thing of beauty!
avatar
that is a criminal sentence wtf nah hahaha
avatar
“You can argue between Varane and Harry Maguire, but there is not much in that and the rest of them I think he has got his best players available. I don’t buy into this idea that Manchester United are decimated from injuries. Yup, he literally said this before the Coventry game, when United had: Shaw, Malacia, Varane, Martinez, Evans, Kambwala Martial, Mount, and Amrabat all out injured. Neville has been Ten Hag out from before he even started, and his agenda is pretty clear to see in his interviews with him and in statements like these.
avatar
Neville and the old boys are constantly at it week in week out, the only manager they didn't run after was Ole and that's because he was their man
avatar
He came out of that interview looking very good. Shut up Neville on his "United haven't been decimated by injuries" nonsense, he literally sat there and got owned, and just had to take it with a smile as he wasn't used to getting pushback for his statements. Got to emphasize to the fans the extent of our injuries and how they have affected our style of play. Actually created positivity, which has been missing as most people in this fanbase just seem to love being negative constantly.
avatar
"we need to back the manager now" "We need to give him time" "The rebuild won't be easy" Turned their backs on him the moment things got tough (hasn't even started his 3rd season this time around)...
avatar
ETH deserves better than this fanbase, so does our players, we always shout about who's the issue, pointing the finger at everywhere else, glazers, media, players, managers, recruitment... whatever one of our many issues we can name. ffs some ppl in our fanbase are also part of the issue abusing players when times are hard. thats the sign of a weak back from some of us fans. Pick whichever one of our many once-in-a-hundred-years crisis we've had under ETH tenure and a little bit of trolling online and they just turn their backs on the everyone they swear loyalty to. like that exactly extrapolates to them in their position shooting themselves from the pressure and hostility of their job
avatar
great ETH interview tbh, i can see an argument for him building something with all our young players
avatar
You think Casemiro will go from Real Madrid to Manchester United than Fulham? That's mental in every sense
avatar
We aren't Chelsea under Boehly, we won't spend a billion. Let's go through the potential cost of your squad: Cash 40-50 million Diego Carlos 30-40 million Kilman 35-40 million Palhinha 60-70 million De Jong 60-70 million Bowen 50-60 million Raphinha 50-60 million Gyokores 70-85 million That's a total spend of at least 400 million, but more likely closer to 500. And even after spending twice as much as we will, you have somehow managed to not fix the gaping hole at left-back, or give us any depth on the wing. Also, Martial can't be sold, as his contract is up, so we're not getting any money for him.
avatar
No he isn't. De Jong is a world-class player in his prime, Mainoo is 19 and in his first proper season. He should develop to be a better player than him, but cmon, let's not be like Barca fans and overrate our players.
avatar
Mainoo is not better than de Jong, that's stupid talk. He has every opportunity to become better though, no doubt about that. Add in that he's home-grown, an academy boy, his age and so on and I definately agree that in a choice between the two I'd take Mainoo. But he is not better than de Jong yet.
avatar
Most obvious Wan-Bisakka giving away a penalty in the 94th minute when we are trying to defend a 1-0 lead.
avatar
Lol we play Crystal Palace away on Monday night??? 😭 Long day boys.. Most obvious 2-1 loss if ever
avatar
Sancho is the one who needs to apologize, to Ten Hag, to his teammates and to us the fans. His immaturity came before the needs of the club, childish behavior for those couple months.
avatar
Finally some intelligent decisions from our club! We will get top 4 next season if we keep him
avatar
Yeah ig if his xAG is 2.9 then its a bit of a problem. But what happens if he drops another clinic against PSG in the reverse fixture and takes them to the final?
avatar
Ppl rlly downvoting you coz they're mad at facts 💀
avatar
We should totally send Anthony to buli to restore his value we can atleast get 40- 45 for him after a good season
avatar
How has today proved that?
avatar
DH tried to used racist jokes against me because I shamed him lmao
avatar
Thanks Sancho for playing well for once, more money for us
avatar
Is it 3 goals in 5 months now?
