Leo Balerdi just made the Copa America squad for Argentina. Good for him man
avatar
We should also sign a 10 like Doué or Cherki imo who can play on the wings too because we‘ll have to replace Malen, Reus and Reyna in summer
avatar
Is there any way to sign Sorloth before the cl final???
avatar
Apparently we suing psg because they sold us 500 less tickets than they should have

Would make the Nmecha signing look like there was no controversy at all

Considering it!! I'm only over in Blenheim so wouldn't be too hard.

Boy oh boy where do I even begin. Hummels... honey, my pookie bear. I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you. The way you defend the box and strike fear into your enemies eyes. Your silky smooth touch with the ball, and that gorgeous smile. I would do anything for you. I wish it were possible to freeze time so I would never have to watch you retire. You had a rough childhood, but you never gave up hope. You are even amazing off the field, you're a great husband and father, sometimes I even call you dad. I forever dread and weep, thinking of the day you will one day retire. I would sacrifice my own life it were the only thing that could puta smile on your beautiful face. You have given me so much joy, and heartbreak over the years. I remember when you first left dortmund and its like my heart got broken into a million pieces. But a tear still fell from my right eye when I watched you win your first major trophies in bayern, because deep down, my glorious king deserved it. I just wanted you to return home. Then allas, you did, my sweet baby boy came home and I rejoiced. 2023 was a hard year for us baby, but in 2024 you will make history happen. You scored that header and I couldn't believe it. I was crying, bawling even, and I heard my glorious king exclaim these words, "DORTMUND, THIS IS FOR YOU!" Not only have you changed the game of Football and the world forever, but you've eternally changed my world. And now you're getting older, but still the goat, my goat. I love you pookie bear, my glorious king, Mats Hummels.

For the last week or so I have been working on a summer business model that I would like to see, this took me quite some time, and feel free to criticize me this is just my opinion on what I would like to see done this summer. some of my shouts are ready-made replacements and some are for the future but I tried to keep our budget in mind so please consider that I just tried to give multiple options while naming targets. Sales Sule 25m Bensebiani 10m Reyna 15m Haller 10m Mouki loan Wolf free Reus free Papa free Pohlmann 1m Ozcan 5-10m Morey free Malen 60m Transfer budget 40m + sales = roughly 171m budget Center back P. Schuurs W. Anton I. Hien Bella Kotchap K. Danso W. Singo Zeno Debast T. Beelen J. Siebert *D. Huijsen N. Milenkovic For centre back, I would like to sign a player for right CB to take half of Hummels minutes and be ready to fully start the by the end of next season. My top 2 picks are 1. Huijsen and 2. Debast. I would also like to bring back Coulibaly for schlottis backup and promote Mane as a 5th CB. Fullback *I. Maatsen G. Doue J. Vagnoman Vanderson *F. Kadioglu A. Bah *L. Geertruida For fullback Maatsen has to be #1. I would like to bring back Rothe to be backup and my second choice which is almost ahead of Maatsen is Geertruida, could be our starting right back as well as CB cover then we could have Ryerson able to share minutes/cover LB too. I also would want to sign Kadioglu for the same reasons minus the CB cover. I think we should splash the cash on Maatsen and Geertruida Central Mids G. Dorley R. Oyedika L. Gourna-Douath H. Larssen *E. Martel *M. Weiffer J. Schouten A. Varela A. Stiller A. Stach For central mids, I would like to sign Weiffer or Martel, someone who can take over for Emre with good performances. I would like to sign more but we won't be getting rid of Nmecha and I don't want to stunt Watjens development. If Emre is sold I would like no one other than Stiller to replace him though, would be nice to have someone that just keeps the ball. Attacking Mids/Wingers J. Beste Sofiane Diop *D. Doue Carlos Forbs A. Nusa B. Gruda R. Hack E. Zhegrova *J. Bakayoko *J. Sancho I know we just bought a youngster that I don't know anything about but for 10m I assume he's promising but I'm not going to let that affect my choices as I built this way beforehand. I would like to sign 1 bigger money player and one talent, I would like to trust JBG and Adeyemi but we still need a starter on the right, hoping this will be Sancho. I wouldn't want to spend anything over 35m though, Bakayoko if we could get him cheaper than Sancho, I would also like Duranville to get healthy if not look at Gruda. Striker M. Beier *S. Guirassy K. Denkey J. Zirkzee T. Moffi For striker, I wish I could be more creative but it looks like we want Guirassy. I would like a different profile but as long as Terzic is here this will be the only profile we go for. As I've said before having just turned 28 a 3 or 4-year contract would basically put him at Fulle's age now so for 17m and everything considered it's a no-brainer for me because not many players with his profile are better than him. I would also like to promote Brunner. Signings Total 167m Huijsen 30m Maatsen 35m Sancho 35m Geertruida 30m Guirassy 17m Weiffer 20m Watjen free Coulibaly free Brunner free Mane free Rothe free Some of the numbers may be off but I tried to be as realistic as possible also just to be clear I'm not an expert on every player from every league but I like to think I know a little bit about all the players on this list, I know not everything is 100% realistic but I tried to do it to the best of my ability, I apologize for the length of this post but playing manager has always been something I've been into so its fun for me, cheers!

It's January 2025 and Dortmund are top of the table. In an effort to bolster the creativity in the midfield Manager Director for Sport Lars Ricken makes a shocking announcement. Marco Reus, the former BVB captain who helped the team win their second ever Champions League trophy with his last minute equaliser against Bayern at Wembley is coming back on loan. Reus so far had a stellar season with Bochum and has the second most assists in the Bundesliga.

I'm going to state an incredibly unpopular opinion of mine. I'm happy that Reus is leaving now. Don't get me wrong, I will forever appreciate everything that he's done for our club, it's going to be incredibly difficult seeing a Dortmund team without him for the first time since I've been a fan. But, it's been time. 1. I've seen many legends in sports play longer than they should, that ends up being a detriment to their team. Marco Reus has not reached this point. But, the regression is clearly there. Now I know that it's incredibly stupid to say this after a game where he had a goal and an assist, but the consistency is gone. The pace he used to have is gone. Maybe it's more of a personal thing, but I don't want to see the guy I've grown up watching just waste away on the bench for his last few years instead of actually playing football because let's face it, he's not starting over Brandt. 2. This brings me to my next point. Last season, and even first half of the season, a lot of us (including myself) were complaining about Reyna's lack of playing time. With Reus gone, he'll finally get minutes to finally prove to us how talented he can be. Sure, we've had a lot of doubts with his attitude regarding the national team and Berhalter. But have you seen how good he CAN be for the USA? Even for us he's had flashes of brilliance, and sure it's not working out perfectly at Forest but that's a difficult position to play in when he's not given opportunities or creative freedom like he would here. We extended him for a reason no? Even if we completely disregard Reyna, we've been looking for that young creative 8/10 in the past. We won't get Uzun, but the fact we're even looking for someone like him shows that we're ready for new youth in that position. Even then, Sabitzer's prime was more attacking and even Nmecha works best while attacking more. 3. I guess this works more for Sule and Haller, but we need a lot of wages off the books. Marco Reus holds a lot of sentimental value for all of us, but if we were to extend him and give him a salary that OBJECTIVELY would be more than someone of his talent deserves (based on everything he's done for us it's fully deserved don't worry I understand that), that's gonna make it even harder to sign ppl like Sancho and Maatsen permanently which let's face it, we'd need someone of that caliber more than we would need Reus. And plus, this gives the chance to Turkey or the USA or Saudi to completely overpay Reus and let him retire with a fuck ton more money. ALL THIS BEING SAID: We better do what Arsenal did with Thierry Henry ty for listening to my yap session

Apart from big/expensive signings, who do you guys think are some smart cheap signings we could make this summer that could benefit the team as a whole?

I'm going to share an unpopular opinion that I've been thinking of, and it's selling Moukoko. I truly understand how much raw potential there is in him. But I also see what happens when we play him. It's clear he doesn't fit our tactics, with a lone physical striker. Even if we were to change tactics (which I would find unwise as we'd be left with a worse midfield), we'd still need a physical striker like Fullkrug or Haller. Instead, I'd want someone like Beier to fill the void, someone who's still young and physical. I've thought of Amorodion but he's on loan from Atletico and I doubt they'd let him go. It doesn't have to be Beier, (tbh he might not even be as physical of a striker as I'd want but he's tall at least), but replacing Moukoko with someone similarly as young but more physical could be a godsend. Obviously we're not gonna find Haaland again, but someone like that. I do understand that this is unpopular for a reason, but like look at Roque at Barcelona and how that's gone so far. All I'm saying is that if we have to choose between a loan and a transfer away, I'd consider a transfer.
avatar
Unpopular opinion: I don’t hate terzic staying. Unless it’s either Klopp, Nagelsmann, or some other real top quality manager, I think there’s no point in sacking him. He’s been our most successful manager since Klopp, and if his odd tactics get results I’m fine with that. We’ve had managers that playing good football in the past and we’ve gotten nowhere, so I’m willing to look aside if we get results.

Im in love with your commemorative shirt for the 50 years of Signal Iduna Park. Unfortunately I can't get it in Argentina, everything is sadness and pain 💔
