The balls from this guy to moan about not playing when he’s still not scored a league goal 😭
avatar
Still made 17 appearances in the league. Starting or not for him to not even have 1 league goal is piss poor.
avatar
He plays as Bachira Meguru
avatar
Both parties have been very respectful of each other. Neither has done more than the other. He deserves a drop in salary, today he is not an important part of the squad. As a revulsive player he would be a very important piece. As captain, he inspires more Bellingham or Hummels than Reus. Marco has suffered a lot, so when things go wrong he is the first to be affected. And he stopped being the face of the team a long time ago, people look more to the young guys. First Sancho, then Haaland, now Jude. (deepl translate)
avatar
unfunniest comment of all time
avatar
He's the only reason I'd have been happy if Brazil won. Nothing else. So good
avatar
Saving the best player for the last penalty has always been the dumbest shit
avatar
Based on PERFORMANCES alone, not their status or their legend, their FIFA 23 ratings should be: Ronaldo: 84 - 87. If Haaland is 88 then Ronaldo has to be less. Personally, the way he's started the season I'd say 84. Once he starts scoring more regularly maybe 86 or 87. Messi: 89 - 91. David Silva in his City prime was 88, Di Maria was 88, Muller 87. Messi is easily operating at that level or above. Most dribbles in Europe. Most Key Passes in Europe. Most Assists in Europe. Splitting defences open every game. Also I think a lot is perception. Because we know what Messi did in his prime, it's easy to think he's"fell off" or "finished". But if Messi was a random French/Brazilian 22 year old, feeding Mbappe and Neymar in on goal every week, we'd say he's one of the most exciting players of the next generation and clubs throughout Europe would be lining up to sign him. Glass half empty vs half full.
avatar
Also the best player of all time
avatar
Agreed, would be nice to actually participate in a championship for once. Oh and the 6th goal was a neat Haaland assist too
avatar
Everyone chatting shit about Messi even though he has 4 goals and 13 assists in 22 games just don't understand how shit of a team PSG actually are in terms of chemistry and consistency. Are these numbers underwhelming compared to the Messi we know? Perhaps, but he's not doing as bad as people claim he is
avatar
Deserved downgrade
avatar
N11>N10
avatar
How you know Ronaldo is the goat Ronaldo’s euro goals: 11 Messi’s euro goals: 0 Debate over. Now you can focus on who’s better haaland or mbappe
avatar
Nothing more amazing than seeing Neymar is staying at PSG!! Trash player built for a trash club.
avatar
Giving him a composure upgrade is like giving Marcelo +1 in defensive positioning.
avatar
We get it, Barcelona is shit nowdays
avatar
Gundogan and Ruben Dias were and are way more important for city this year...individually De bruyne is having one of his worst season and you speak about ballon dor
avatar
World class, hard worker, best smile on the world HOW can you hate this guy ?? If he wins the CL with Chelsea he's gonna he a Chelsea legend. Love this guy I'd sell my kidneys to see him in a barca shirt..🥲
avatar
Shows how much mentality means in football no doubt he class but his mentality let him down. If he had a better one he could be on Messi and cr7 level but no he will always b a step behind
avatar
Actually no I like Sterling, go to Everton I wanna fucking boo someone
avatar
Coutinho, mate, I've defended your move to Barcelona from the other Liverpool fans, even though you were a dickhead about it I still respect what you did for my club. Swear down if you go to Everton tho. You'll get boo'd harder than Raheem Sterling
avatar
Based on yesterday's game, he is talented, but needs to improve A LOT his decision making (pretty natural for a 20 y.o. player). Potential is probably too high
avatar
I feel so bad for him, he isn’t this bad it’s just he’s lost confidence, he can easily be 81/85 he’s been immense since Tuchel came in and it just isn’t fair on him, with what all these comments suggest
avatar
before you argue at least remember this guy won WC and Euros under his belt. its embrassing naming players that doesnt even come close to that.
avatar
Yeah, I don't have ps4. I watch football, so you should too.
avatar
I really hate PSG as a football fan for breaking the transfer market. Teams used to pay 50 mil for a top-quality player, but after his transfer, everything doubled. IMO, not even Prime Messi/Ronaldo is worth 222 mil.
avatar
Let's be honest here, as much as I hate PSG those 2 goals are just individual mistakes. City wasn't that good and Foden wasted their chances.
avatar
When he's losing, his behavior really turns into sh!t. It transmits that negative energy to his teammates like Gueye who literally broke Gundogan's leg.
avatar
Great player if he wants, but his attitude is the worst. And he’s 29, so guess it’ll never change.
avatar
Great to see that he realised that he needs to be a team player if he wants to win big trophies.
avatar
I'm not saying that Messi is the greatest football player, is the best that I have ever seen along to Ronaldo Nazario, but I mean If Messi is the "GOAT" why he can't win a single trophy with Argentina? You know why? Because this is a sport of eleven players, this isn't tennis, so say that he or any player is the GOAT is stupid, because any footballer can't win by himself, they need another 10 players to win their fucking trophies. Ronaldo and Messi fanboys are so stupid.
avatar
Koeman's agenda is disgusting. Pedri is burnt out, but he would still abuse a 18 yo than play Puig.
avatar
Why does he even try lmao https://twitter.com/zs0703/status/1385362238920347650?s=21
avatar
Theoretically with his height and elevation he should be the ideal player to put in any wall when defending a free kick.
avatar
Show this to the one who put downvote. 31M for that idiot
avatar
He's responsible for more FK conceded than scored for Juventus
avatar
Ronaldo stay far from wall please, an other goal got for your fault!!!
avatar
Whats outstanding according to you? He has a killer eye for goal, speed like no one else, cuts inside like a pro, sets up his teammates very well and is the most lightning player around. Quit it with your BS. Mbappe is generational
avatar
He never grew into the player he couldve been. Now it is almost too late.
avatar
FUCK THE SUPERLEAGUE
avatar
His passes are superb. Mentally he’s solid, a warrior. His placement is getting better and better. Too bad he doesn't have the physique to do a big 90-minute pressing, he could have really been a reference to his post. Despite everything, he's still a very good player, 82 or 83.
avatar
imagine still thinking this guy can become a top level striker, he hasn't improved at all since we bought him, everything he does looks like an accident and his finishing is dreadful
avatar
From what I’ve seen with Croatia he basically does it all. Tackles, passes, crosses, applies pressure, and his long shots are ok too. Also he has incredible stamina and is always moving around. He’s got immense skill and when he shows up in games... wow, he looks World class. However his major issue is that he’s mentally lazy. Some games he just looks like he doesn’t wanna play, and becomes invisible. I’ve seen it happen a couple of times and I’m like “Wtf where has Brozovic been all this time?”. Also he is pretty aggressive and can give away free kicks sometimes like the one against France in the WC final. Also I think he was caught drunk driving a few months ago, which tells me he’s not very professional and probably has a bad attitude. On his day, he’s one of the best midfielders in the world, and can honestly control the game. If he had the mentality like Modric has, he’d be 89 rated by now.
avatar
94/94 best player in the world In 2021 so far.
avatar
Always was overrated as fuck. Can you imagine he had 93 potential ?? Like EA taught he can reach Messi And Ronaldo Level and become better than Neymar 🤣🤣🤣
avatar
Basically. Best for both parties.
avatar
Leave barca bro we don't need you.
avatar
Can't say he is bad, but he is the shadow of Atalanta Papu - pretty average performences, doesnt fit Sevilla's style and probably should find another club imo.
avatar
Will never reach Ronaldo and Messi level and you can't change my mind. That 95 potential is a disgrace so you telling me that EA really believes that he is gonna be better than prime Messi and Ronaldo ??
avatar
One of the best performances of a midfielder in the history of the Champions League lol, that's a bit over the top isn't it? Scored a penalty and a free kick that should have been saved. I do agree that it was a great performance, but one of the best performances ever is reaching
avatar
avatar
I have never understood why he's always been rated low on the stamina and strength stats. Plays almost every second of every match of the season, I have never seen him get substituted(except for injuries, which are also very rare) before this season. As for strength, he's probably the footballer who gets kicked, pulled, pushed the most during matches along with neymar and he tries to shrug it off almost everytime. Never got booked for simulation except for that 1 match where the referee was a retard.
avatar
People can talk all the shit they want about him but no one can deny the fact that this man has scored some BANGERS in his career Puskas King
avatar
He’s better than Messi. Everyone knows it.
avatar
gets -2 penalties after missing his first penalty in 2 years, EA really is taking the piss
avatar
He is not that bad he has kept relatively the same stats since his Atletico days, you have to understand that he went from playing in a very strong system to a new one he is not used to. His 1v1 defending got slightly worse( now he gets beat just over once a game before it was 0.9 a game.) his Ariel duels( best attribute ) is still the same( above 60% this season its at 80% but that's unsustainable) also in terms of defensive output( tackles and interceptions) it has gone up( expected since he isn't playing in a deep block) the eye test when it comes to Godin is not as accurate since he plays in such a different system, this is why i used stats. The main reason people think he is poor is because he has committed a lot more errors whilst its true he does commit more errors its not indicative of him being significantly worse. he only has 2 errors leading to shots in the serie a ( adding both from inter and cagliari) in his last season alone in atleti he had 3. all my stats are from https://fbref.com/en/players/fc4f85b1/Diego-Godin
avatar
Just like all those people those seasons that would say that after the first half of the season he was finished if he wasn't scoring or playing as well...then even though he proved them wrong, they would still complain that he didn't deserve the Ballon d'Or at times because he only turned up in the knockout stages despite being the top scorer and being voted the UEFA best player in Europe those seasons...isn't that what counts!? Paolo Rossi did the same in the 1982 World Cup and won the Golden Ball, the Golden Boot, and the Ballon d'Or that year, and no-one would dispute that he deserved them!

So glad he got that goal, excellent work and a great hit. Hopefully this will up his confidence!
