Joao Neves slowly becoming by favorite option for this summer. Mature beyond his years. Short but massive engine and covers ground. Pure center-mid. Frenkie and Bruno are fantastic options, and the price tag for all three will probably hover between 70m and 100m. But with Neves we get a real leader, no-nonsense maturity and intensity of play and spirit. Title-winning stuff. We CANNOT let City get their hands on him. A Rice-Neves midfield duo at their peak would be nearly unstoppable.

I wanna preface this by saying: I don't think we should get this guy, but some team in a top 5 league should. This is more of a "this guy is too good for his current level", and not really someone Arsenal should get. It'd be a hell of a story tho lol; a bit like Freddie Ljungberg when he signed. If we want a 1v1 dribbler, speed demon: Taha Ali. I seriously doubt any non-swede is familiar with him, but holy moly, he's one of the best pure wingers I've seen in Sweden. Ridiculously quick feet, pulls off superb skills and super fast. He is also very good in the final 3rd. Works hard off the ball too. He's also already 25 and has had a crazy glow-up. Played in lower Swedish divisions for quite a while, played like one season in the top division for a crap team and then got signed up by Malmö, who are the clear top dogs in Swedish football. At his worst at this level, he's basically a small + weak Adama Traore. At his best tho, he could be something quite exciting. I generally think wingers, at least those kinds of wingers, should have an easier time transitioning to higher levels. Ali, for example, already plays the game at a super high speed and his best qualities would cause problems for almost any player. My suggestion was a lot more unserious than yours lol, but I just had to talk about Ali to someone who's not Swedish. He'd at least be super cheap haha. 99.9% sure he wouldn't make it at Arsenal, but again, some team should take that chance. The Swedish league is obv not particularly good, esp not compared to the PL, but every now and then you find some real gems. Ali could be that imo.

They hold virtually every PL record now. United never dominated like this, even in the 90s. Obviously the totals are different, but history can only carry you so far. That's crazy, we are actually so hated. I scroll through sofifa and twitter today and it's just us getting made fun of for losing a title race slimly to Man City lol. Some of it was funny, most of it is cringe because these guys' teams have not done anything close to competing with us, let alone City. It's basically coping for their teams being horrible.

That's rivalry though right. We all have the right to banter each other. I actually wanted Arsenal to win the league this season (once it became clear that we wouldn't), and you certainly haven't bottled it. City are just damn relentless (which is exactly why I preferred Arsenal to win it). I think all this stuff has just been escalated with social media and people jumping on the bandwagon (though some Arsenal fans haven't made the club more likeable).
